Hi Marty, have seen them all and love it. I know its heaps of work, but keep them coming. It would be shame for the footage to go to waste.

Another great video like your commentary. Have watched all Matty's videos very informative and the detailed video of what he packed was helpful in my planning for 2022 E To E.
On another note what is your cassette on your Talon One. Having just recently purchased a new Talon 1 it has a 10-42T so hoping that will get me up some of those hills.

Yeah bud, it's a 10-42, i just went to count the actual teeth just then haha. Def will be enough. There were 3x i pushed tho. Out of jarrahdale, one bit you say in day 5 vid and once in the valley of the giants. I did have a very heavy bike tho.
Mattys vids are so chill, i def will go bikepacking with him some day soon :)

I love that you guys have a mascot. I get one for every trip. My last trip it was a pokemon doll.. Evee to be exact.

Yeah, gotta have a mascot..:) Evee is great choice, especially cos you have to walk them for a while before evolving ;)

I am really enjoying your videos. I also follow Matty’s channel on YT.
Did you have to lock your bikes in Collie and if so what lock did you use?

Thank you for you kind comment. We locked our bikes every night, even in the forest, when no one was around. I don't know why, i guess it just doesnt cost any time, and it takes away that very very rare opportunity for someone to make your life more difficult. The lock was a standard bike lock with a code, i dont know the brand, but it was pretty heavy, so that is one downside. I guess it just helped me to sleep easier.

I need to eat better. I eat horrid food, but I bike 100's of miles a weeks so I'm pretty fit. I can't imagine how my body would look if I ate better. lol.. As always, I love the video!

Riding makes the bad food disappear, doesnt it :) i know what you mean, im too much of a sugar and bread addict in normal life. But every time we have nice food, meaning whole foods and veggies, i can feel how literally healing it is! As opposed to having like hungry jacks or other junk food... then I'm like 'why did i do this to myself?' Haha. Habits die hard, man :)

@@alrightletsdoit2588 I went vegetarian for 6 months last year. It's felt good but I really love a good steak.

Everyone has different tastebuds. :-) many people, who stop eating meat dont replace it with rich enough alternatives, and then they feel hungry and unsatiated... thanks to michelle, she taught me to make sure to get enough protein from various non meat sources, so in a meal, i dont miss the "meatiness" anymore. And i was the guy who would have chicken, pork and beef in one meal lol. So yeah, i dont judge anyone :)
