Hey, this video saved me money :) Now I know how to clean microswitches. I was not aware that even when you cannot see patina some of it actually prevents contact. I would go one step further... Any idea how to redirect steam / water away from microswitches so it does not happen again?
Need to replace the microswitch on my Royal Saeco Espresso Machine. I can purchase a new switch. Do you have a TH-cam on how to replace the microswitch?

I have a Saeco Magic Combi with the same problem... But the coffedoser microswitch is not available anymore.... I will try you trick becaus the microswitch looks the same.
I have a Saeco Royal. It took me a while to find one of your videos where you show how to remove the top.( th-cam.com/video/2gOjUKg38Pk/w-d-xo.html ). I've ordered a new microswitch, but I was watching this video, and I thought, well, I might as well try to fix it. I had the "Coffee Beans Empty" message, and I followed another video (th-cam.com/video/bK15Pgz_w6g/w-d-xo.html) to troubleshoot the problem. After many hours of fumbling with big fingers and a very small spring (I was desperate to get my coffee machine working again!), I got the microswitch cleaned and put back together, then put the machine back together, and turned it on. I will have coffee tomorrow morning!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for your videos - my only suggestion would be to redo this microswitch video - your audio is very clear, but the video is especially fuzzy when you were putting the microswitch back together.
