So much nostalgia from this game. I’ve seen people mod it and added new playable characters and missions to make it how it was originally intended to be played.
Yup these mods are so awesome and so fun I recently tried them, but boy, the special abilities are so OP lol.

This game was ahead of its time open world both gun and hand to hand combat and destructible environment
War for Cybertron was one of the best Transformer games and had amazing pvp, the fluidity of the vehicle to bot mode was fire, and got to create your own bot for pvp

I played this game atleast 10x. The transformers were given more identity and personality. You could play as the Decepticons or Autobots and stick with it right till the end. There were some missions too like Sector 7 (destroying those fans with Bumblebee) and Ironhide who was a cake walk 😉
Man... why the hell were all the Transformer games after this one NOT open world?
I wouldn't want ALL of them to be open world lmao.. but at least another 1 or two being so would've been cool!
I have played it, I know it from head to feet, and even investigated a lot about it, and I can safely say that: If this game had more time to be developed, this could've been a boom and probably one of the best Transformers games ever

This is an incredible game, it is so fun to play, the decepticons are my favorites and I really love the fact that they can win, the 2.0 mod and other mods that were made for this game gave it it's full potential

I remember playing this game on the PlayStation 2 as a kid, and going out of my way to destroy every single building in every map. What made it so fun was this game having a GTA crime meter mechanic, meaning I'd have like 30 cop cars on my tail by the end of my rampage. Good times.
I remember doing the decepticon campaign and being surprised that you get an alternate story of events if the decepticons won. plus the 2 cybertron levels were fun
I hope he plays wfc and foc, because those games are so iconic and well regarded

I totally forgot Shockwave was in this game but how could I when I literally came back to this game a few months ago but there’s many differences between this and the movie like Optimus killed Megatron in the game and not Sam like in the movie.

I feel like this game is a lot more fun with Deceptacon‘s because it’s more in character to cause havoc and destroy everything and not care Also, the air vehicles are a plus.

When playing the last stand map it was always hilarious to transform into a car on the subway tracks and it would launch you in the air.

this was quite literally the very first game I ever played, PlayStation 2 edition, I remember it vividly.... yes... transforming into car mode and parking, occasionally fighting barricade and losing 50 times before I'd ask my uncle to beat it for me... good times...

Can't wait to see you play the Decepticon side next. You can alternate between Autobot and Decepticon to play the full story in order until you have to choose the ending in Chapter 5.

Have you played the game based on the sequel, Revenge Of The Fallen? I acyloved that game. It improves on a lot of the things in this game, the graphics, gameplay, ex. Yiu can so watch the original G1 Transformers show as well so thats cool.
The Ps2 and Wii versions are so bad, thank fuck I'm not playing that version ever again, it's so bad, ps3, x360 and PC are so much better

Dude, I am replaying this game so long ago when I was like the youngest child before my brother was born, I was like five or six when I played it and I played it so much that I broke my controller and then I played it so much that I broke the TV😂 transformers. The game with Memes is just hilarious and different.

Though the Cybertron games so far have been the best, with Devastation being right after, each one has their own charm to it. I played both sides. I enjoyed the decepticons better. I suggest dbz games on ps2 they all amazing. Any other games you should continue spiderman ps1 and Spider-Man enter of electro.

In the beta... It had more potential and it is wasted in some wys and one of them is being that i know some combo is useable on some characters and a youtuber by the game of Digital Arctic made a 2.0 mod for it and other stuff... Also the game was HORRIBLY made when i was older because on some bots the wheels when they transformer appears further away from what they supposed to be positioned at and when they remaster it in the ps3...... It was WAYYYY WORSE because 1:i have found out that the wheels on all npc vehicles WE ON OPPOSITE SIDE WHICH MAKES IT WEIRD and other stuff that they could have fixed but did not....
