Hello Juan, I watched your tutorial the other day showing us how to make solid granny squares, but I was kinda disappointed you didn't show us how to join them like your blanket, but my disappointment is short lived because here you are! Thank you.
Thank you Juan for sharing how to join the granny squares together .Your the best teacher I've ever seen .I look forward to learning much more from your tutorials ❤
Great tutorial Juan….I like it when you say “this one needs a neighbor”! 😊🧶😂 I also like the method of putting 4 together at a time! Say hello to Mom….Ya’ll have a great evening! 😊🧶🦋💜
Love that men are not afraid to crochet. When I was a teenager, we had a gentleman that use to bring his crochet to Bingo with him and I was amazed with what he use to make.
Dearest Juan, I'm making a crochet pullover/hoodie for myself using your pattern for granny squares!!! I love your tutorial for them and I love the way they look!! Now I'm about to learn how to join all these squares together, thanks to you, again!! I'm so excited to finish my sweater!! Between you, Juan, and Crystal, from Bag O Day, I've really learned some quality skills!!!
Hi Juan 👋, very good tutorial😊im going to need this...ive never actually made a granny square blanket, only the big continuous granny blankets. See you at 2moros live!!
Hi Juan. This tutorial was very clearly explained and demonstrated. I didn’t think that I would like the raised borders, but they look lovely and I especially like how where the corners are joined, it creates an X which looks so good. Once the border is on, the blanket starts looking completely different. Finishing touches are what makes every project look complete. Your friend from Ontario, Audrey. P.S. I live 2 hours from my favourite place; Niagara Falls. Have you taken your Mum there? A weekend at the Hilton, overlooking the Falls is awesome. Breakfast on the 33rd. floor gives such a gorgeous view. The Hilton; WOW! ❤️🇨🇦🧶👍
Hi I am new to your channel and have bee trying to do granny squares for months. I watched your videos and your are a great teacher. Thank you so much, I will be watching you all the time.😁💕
Many thanks, Juan! I’ve got an old box full of unjoined solid grannies that have been waiting patiently for years to be turned into a blanket. You’ve given me the inspiration to finally get it done! Yay!! ❤ Also: love the idea of joining four squares at a time. Seems like that would make the job less intimidating. Thanks!
Thank you Friend! This is such an easy to follow tutorial, just what I needed to join my squares. I am a begginer so this was really helpful. 🙏 Thank you!
I watched this yesterday but wanted to pop back in and let you know I tried your method of ending/tying off the yarn with a chain 2 and then pulling the yarn. I tried it today and it definitely is much better than pulling the yarn through the last stitch.
I've made a few of theses quares so far . Time to start putting them together with this method. I used your join for regular granny squares and love it. It's so fast and secure. Thanks for a great job showing us.
Hello Juan. I have several Granny type squares never put together. This looks easy. I assume this method would work for non solid Granny squares? Happy New Year to you. Blessings to you
Hi Juan. I noticed that before you complete a stitch you yarn under instead of yarning over. Is that just your own way of doing projects? I’ve heard that method is good for amigurumi.
Juan I have a bunch of red, white, & blue squares that I made. I appreciate you showing us how to connect our squares. The only thing I do differently is at the end to sew in your ends you said to turn your project to the top side and I always run my needle down to the back side to sew in the ends. Am I missing something or is it just one of those things we do differently with the same result?
I’m going to have to watch back. 😂 I agree with you, we should be running the needle down the backside if possible. If I said otherwise, it was a Freudian slip of the tongue!! Thanks for catching that
I like your square joining, but whoa...going way too fast for this beginner to follow your outside edge double crotchets... I feel I'll never get this!
No worries! There is a gear button near the video where you can slow it down if you like! If that doesn’t work email me and I will create a slower version! I can definitely help!
Hello Juan, I watched your tutorial the other day showing us how to make solid granny squares, but I was kinda disappointed you didn't show us how to join them like your blanket, but my disappointment is short lived because here you are! Thank you.

Great TUTORIAL Juan. xxxx
Thanks so much for another wonderful tutorial. Love how this tile blanket turned out, so so pretty!
I always join crochet Square together with a crochet needle 🪡. I see that using the crochet hood is faster and easier. I will give it a try.

Thank You❤️🥰❤️
Thank you 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Have you ever tried join as you go? I watched fiber spider and little confusing but now it made me fall in love with granny squares all over again!
Would I be able to do those squares with a single crochet stitch Makes it opening smaller😊
Yes! It would work that way as well.
very helpful! Appreciate the detail with the borders.
Thanks for the tutorial, I was wondering how you had attached them, when I watched how you made them. Thank you again
Hi Juan, TY for making this tutorial!
Great tutorial, Juan. I learned a couple things❤
Thank you so much for this great tutorial!!!!!
Excellent tutorial. Thankyou.
Thanks so much Juan, this is just what I was looking for! Happy New Year to you.
Very nice and easy.
Thank you so much and Happy New Year 🎆.
Hey don’t miss a video
Little hack. Do the DC around the outside but put TDC in any edge dc that causes a bit of a dip where sq joining occurs.
i have a blanket similar to the 1 on the back of your black chair.

That was also on my mind. Thanks for the clarification.
He ran his end yarn thru the top of the single crochet joining stitch at one point in the front. Maybe that’s what you’re talking about…
if you did your start chains/ joins in the corners of your granny's
they are invisible
Are you aware you yarn under and instead of yarn over?
I like your square joining, but whoa...going way too fast for this beginner to follow your outside edge double crotchets... I feel I'll never get this!
