Conversely, a politician should not interfere in military decision-making. It is also clear that the commander of the army must submit to the authority of the commander-in-chief, that is, the president. That is how democracy works.
The general has a better Judgement on war and peace. He has seen horrors of war as long he is not corrupt then he should run for office.
