Founding members Glen Frey (guitar +) who sang this, Don Henley (Drums +) Randy Meisner (bass) sings "Take it to the limit", Bernie Leadon (guitar). Then they added Don Felder (guitar) who co-wrote the music for "Hotel California", Bernie left and they added Joe Walsh with the bandana and who was with "James Gang " check out "Funk 49" and soloed check out "Life's been Good". After the '77 tour, Randy Meisner left and was replaced by Timothy B. Schmidt from the Group Poco "Heart of the Night" Tim sings "I can't tell you why", I don't think there is a bad Eagles song
Eagles were absolutely perfect live and this concert was great, be sure to check out “Lyin Eyes” sung by Glen Frey, “Take it to the Limit” sung by Randy Meisner, and more.
I saw the Eagles back in the 70's then again last year in Northern California, RIP Glen Frey..Joe Walsh is an amazing guitar player, still is. Last year was a fantastic concert and they played all of their hits from my Teen years...........Here are a few songs; Witchy Woman...Lying Eyes and One of These Nights.........all of their songs are just beyond great!
Their first album was country rock. Then when Joe Walsh joined they rocked up a lot. I’m sure others have told you already, Glenn Fry is the singer. The back up harmonizer is Randy Meisner who just died last year. I would recommend their first album songs…”Trying” and “Early Bird” It was said about them when “Peaceful Easy Feeling” came out the country was so battle fatigued from the 60s and Vietnam, that they hit a nerve. Folks NEEDED to chill out and that song ushered it in.
"The Eagles' 1976 compilation album, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, has surpassed Michael Jackson's Thriller for the title of best-selling album of all time." Who says compilations don't sell? :)
Please react to "Take It to the Limit" and only do the 1977 live version with the late Randy Meisner. He sings lead and it is a tour de force performance by him and the band, just amazing!
Glenn Frey (pronounced fry)rip. with the headband is the legendary Joe Walsh, the other lead guitarist is Don Felder. Henley on drums bass is Randy Miesner rip. "Take It To The Limit " is Randy's outstanding performance.
The late Glen Frey, he also had a solo career after they took a break...Smugglers blues .....and others...more Eagles ..I cant tell you why, take it to the limit,
Glenn had a bit more of a country voice. Worked well with their early country/rock sound they had. As they went more rock Don Henley and Joe Walsh did more singing and Glenn did a little less. They still all took their turns though.

Their song titled Peaceful Easy Feeling is one of my favorite songs ever. Individually the most talented band in history in my opinion
Glenn Frey You Belong to the City. He is awessome. RIP
This band, like so many of the 70s and 80s had so much talent.n We were so spoiled.
The Eagles were HUGE in the 70’s. They had so many hits.❤❤❤❤
Eagles were absolutely perfect live and this concert was great, be sure to check out “Lyin Eyes” sung by Glen Frey, “Take it to the Limit” sung by Randy Meisner, and more.
Of course we want more classics the best music in the world . Stuck in the 70s.
Take it to the limit. At this same concert. Fabulous
Take It To The Limit with the late great Randy Meissner on Lead vocal, it will not disappoint ❤
Take it to the Limit!
Love the Eagles, Take it to the Limit is another Eagles banger , live version is awesome 🔥
Eagles are icons! Love your reaction!
"I just wanna lover that wont blow my cover"
That man is a player if I ever heard one.🤣
My favorite band. They have sooo much good stuff. “Those Shoes” is very funky.
Definite sound/vibe of 1970s, in HS! Glenn Frey is the singer. First heard the group in 1973 - Peaceful Easy Feeling.
Take it to the limit
Should definitely check out take it to the limit live
1977 live version of Take it to the Limit

Sound of Peace,Love and Understanding.
I loke your comments!!! Late 60's, 70's music....best music there is!!
The singer is Glenn Frey (pronounced fry). He passed in 2016, after a very successful solo career.
Thank you for the name!
A young singer song writer named Jackson Brown gave them this song. The Eagles added the line, "... in a flatbed Ford.... "..
That is just purely inaccurate
What is inaccurate... "purely "????
@ Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey wrote the song together. Browne didnt write it solo just for the eagles to add “in a flatbed ford”
@@Dismembering_Man look it up...the story of Take It Easy is on TH-cam. You can watch, hear Jackson tell the storyline/ timeline.
@ I’ll have to check it out 👍👍

Do Take it To The Limit from this concert ! Mind blowing 🤯
The name of that sound you’re referring to is what they call “AMERICANA”. It comes from America’s heartland, supposedly.
Hit!
The late Glen Frey, he also had a solo career after they took a break...Smugglers blues .....and others...more Eagles ..I cant tell you why, take it to the limit,
Great reaction bro!
If you''re looking for something a little different from them, try "Victim of Love" or "Life in the Fast Lane".
Guitar solos are Joe Walsh.
Please react to Seven Bridges Road... thx
It's California easy listening music
❤
Back in the day some labeled them country rock
California country rock.
"your guy" guitar is Joe Walsh. Henley "Heart of the Matter" is better than boys of summer.
Glenn Frey!
Glenn had a bit more of a country voice. Worked well with their early country/rock sound they had. As they went more rock Don Henley and Joe Walsh did more singing and Glenn did a little less. They still all took their turns though.
This audio is not from this concert.
Explain
Glenn Frey took the lead on this one, but pretty much everyone in the band could sing.
Of course we want more classics the best music in the world . Stuck in the 70s
