Did you know, just few streets away, across from the school, a bunch of little kids at a sleepover died in a block fire over 50 years ago. This place is haunted.

Chief John Pond and his Whole dept. deserve a shitload of credit,a medal, and a steak dinner for their efforts that morning, and so do the mutual aid companies too.

Why are so many of these apartment fire videos in Massachusetts?

Wooden buildings are the major contributors to such fires. Everywhere.

Wooden floors/inner walls were key contributors

From a fire science view like to know more about that. It just seems like this just went up and was from middle floors.

If building had so called corridor floor plan, it served as "horizontal wind channel" creating strong side draft and allowing fire to spread through out the floor. Next, either the ceiling gave up or the staircases allowed fire to go to the upper floors.

Thank you. So important and seems many people take these things for granted... This is why building codes and fire doors are so important
