On the one hand, I do appreciate that the childhood friend was good to him and he was just dense about her feelings. Saying that, she was fully love bombing him to get him to be with her while she thought he had an actual girlfriend. If the guy had a girlfriend she would be pushing him to cheat with her. I think she should have investigated him having a girlfriend more, he admits he lied so she doesn't need to stay over. She still stays over then love bombs him until he notices her feelings.
