Makes me think of the tone of the guitar line in Eno's "Here Come The Warm Jets"....Beam Splitter belongs in every mix engineer's toolkit IMHO - Lot's of fun to bring all 3 outputs up on console faders in an ambient music mix, and create a lot of interesting panning movement. Beautiful looking pedal also! Nice graphics! Cheers!
ok idea I had: what if the beam splitter had pitch modulation on two of the channels. you could theoretically be your own three part harmony. I guess you could do that now by running each signal into a pitch shifter thingy but it would be sick if it was on the one thing. also what if you plugged each signal into another beam splitter and had 9 amps going. would that work.
Question - so if you have two amps only does the pedal merge them into those two . or lets say one amp. Does the pedal combines all three in the output amp ?? . Or you need three amps to get the most out of it.
if you have one amp, the three signals sum to the main amp, but still present in parallel. if you have two amps, the signal that does not have an output plugged in defaults to parallel sum in the main output. so you can use one, two or three amps.
So, can i use an external distortion or effect and have the unit to spit said sound into three tightly split sounds in order to create a more massive distortion?
It doesn' make very much sense only one input where you have 3 outputs and one single footswitch. The hipster looking is great thought. I miss fuzz tones in it. Great video dude.
Could not make it through the video...listening to this slow...I don't even know what to call this...walk-through is so painful that it made me want to pull my teeth with channel locks. Interesting pedal though. Hopefully, I can find a video on it that I can stand.
