As we speak, The Animation Guild is negotiating for a new contract and fighting for better rights for animation workers. Let's work together so we can see animation thrive in the future!

@Mariofanaticanimations, we literally had two original stories last year, and people still weren't satisfied. Also, from what I heard, a lot of people weren't hyped for one of their upcoming original projects (Hoppers) when it was announced. If people want original ideas again, like they claim, they need to give the ones we do get an honest chance.

I’ve seen older people make the argument that animation serves zero purpose to society, and that anyone fighting for the right to do creative jobs should go out and get a real job instead of complaining.
Obviously I disagree, but something about that statement disturbs me…
Honestly the same argument could be applied to any form of entertainment, even sports. But I doubt those elders would be happy if their favourite teams/players were forced to quit lol.
Use their own arguments against them, tell them sports tournaments serves the exact same purpose in society, with the addition of players having absurd salaries with corporate advertising backing.
These people should live a life without entertainment and creativity- see how much they love it.

Even if CN ain’t fully dead as a brand, hence us getting some revivals of old shows, an upcoming crossover, and an anime called “Iyanu,” it’s still good that there are people out there fighting for their rights, having had enough of their treatment towards them.
Not to sound melodramatic, but now that this strike is happening, the time is coming for when executives like Zaslav have to answer for what they did.
I do hold David Zaslav accountable for that.
He should take a look at things like *_Beavis & Butthead_* and *_South Park_* as that's animation for adults.

The closing of CN Studios doesn't hit me NEARLY as hard as others because while I liked Cartoon Network, I liked/watched Nickelodeon more. I watched more Nickelodeon shows past the 90s than I did Cartoon Network Shows past the 90s. The 90s was PEAK Cartoon Network! Then they went downhill in the early 2000s aside from the gems that were Billy & Mandy, KND, and Foster's Home. Then they REALLY went downhill in the 2010s with their ONLY GOOD shows being Incredible Crew, Regular Show and Gumball. Now Nickelodeon on the other hand had great shows UNTIL the 2010s before they REALLY went downhill! Their LAST GOOD show was Sam & Cat.

The fact the animators protested in the most wild way to send a message definitely got a few watching that's for sure, I think I have confidence the Animators Guild will be successful and these companies are going to do the right thing, afterall these corporations basically piggybacked off raw talent to obtain the raw power and fortune they acquired.
To try and continue without talent and instead be replaced by Soulless Ai is a foolish idea and it seemed to have caused more damage than it's worth, look at how well Megamind and the Doom Syndicate turned out with most of it's work being done by Ai, a complete abysmal failure that failed both as a product and as a means of driving interest in a failing Streaming Service being Peacock.
Either way the only products and services that are successful right now are the one's with actual effort put into it, with raw talent of animators, Special Effects artists, Actors and Actresses and Voice Work, Writers to boot, these companies are going to be crawling back to these talented people begging for their help, cause Ai ain't going to be the thing that saves them, it's going to ruin them.

It sucks, but it was only a matter of time. Not only were their cartoons getting worse and worse, but with the rise of streaming and other visual media outlets(TH-cam) this end was inevitable. I never would've imagined that Adventure time, Regular Show, Gumball, and heck, even Steven Universe. Would end up being the last bastions of its existence, but I'm glad I got to enjoy them while they aired.

Cartoon Network was home for many who had a special connection with many favourite shows and thrills.

Cartoon Network is not dead. However, it is true that animation as a whole is in crisis.I am Japanese, but I cannot help but do nothing when I see foreign animation going bad.
I watched your videos since 2016 when I was a kid, and now that I am an adult, I appreciate your channel. I hope my kids will watch your videos too.

I can't believe why Cartoon Network is shutting down forever! It was my favorite TV channel and I was happy to enjoy all of my favorite cartoon characters. All I wanted to check out was Tiny Toons Looniversity, the one show I was supposed to look forward to, but now, I can't. It's all Warner Bros Discovery's idea that it's been going off the air for a long time. But do you know what's not going anywhere anytime soon? Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Discovery Family, Freeform, Disney Jr., Disney XD, Nick Toons, PBS Kids, TeenNick, and Nick Jr.
Cartoon Network has been going on the air for the past 32 years and I think I'm going to miss all the stuff I have to miss. We will miss you, CN. R.I.P.
