It was a good match to start with, Italy young players need to learn how to manage difficult situations and stay focused, and winning that third set was so important. Good distribution of the ball by Giannelli and great blocks as always. Galassi and Lavia did great. Michieletto and Romanò need to do a little but more in order to win against bigger teams in the future.
I agree with you here. While the young Italian team is extremely talented, for some reason they're just not able to close out a match quickly. Hopefully they develop this "killer instinct" very soon and not become complacent of the fact that they're European champions. Michieletto and Romano also need to have (in my opinion) more variety in their shots as they can be really predictable. It would be interesting to see if Italy use Trentino's system of having 3 outside hitters instead of the traditional 2 outside hitters + 1 opposite. OR use 2 setters on the court and have Sbertoli as an additional spiker. He actually has a more vicious spike than Gianelli.
Go Italy! We played pretty well though in the third set we should have ended the game in a less difficult way... maybe the rush to finish the game or maybe a lot of inattention... I don’t know... luckily we managed to win. go on like this Italy and show your value! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Purtroppo, specialmente nelle gare della prima fase a gruppi, è qualcosa che si verifica dappertutto. Praticamente c'è pubblico solo nelle gare giocate dai paesi ospitanti e non è davvero un bello spot per il Volley
