    Joe: doesn't use a funnel, not a drop of oil spilled
    Me: doesn't use a funnel, spills oil all over the valve cover, intake manifold and the neighbor's car.

      Hey man, I really appreciate you watching and commenting! Sounds like it was a great help. Having a lot more videos under my belt now and rewatching this one, I think it can be a lot better haha but we are always our biggest critic's.

    I plan on doing an oil change but without jacking car up. Seen several videos able to do it. My question pls is do you think that drain pan could be used still if I plan not to jack?

    • @joesdiy4260
      @joesdiy4260  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are referring to the exact drain pan that I use in my video, then I do not think it will fit without jacking the car up. You can always purchase more shallow drain pans.
      Thanks for watching and commenting!

      I was reading height on that is 6.75 inches. I just wasn't sure how accurate it was. If so the clearance is higher than that 8.9 inch?

    • @joesdiy4260
      @joesdiy4260  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jonsen2792 Regarding the drain pan, I dont list the brand or type of drain pan. So, even if I measured the height of mine, I cannot guarantee that you will get the same one at the store.
      Sadly, I no longer own this car and I do not know what the ground clearance is. If you own this car, you can simply measure the ground clearence yourself.
      If you are concerned with drain pan heights, my recommendation would be to measure the ground clearance of your car, then go to the store and measure the heights of drain pans and select the one that best works for you.
      Hope this helps, take care!
