vanakkam guruji....I used to listen to all your upanyasams and all are so beautifully narrated which gets into our mind and soul and purifies it...thank you for your dignified spiritual guidance ...we are gifted to listen to your speech... personally my vision towards life got changed on hearing your speeches...I will be really glad if someone else like you comes to give upanyasams in the next coming generations as well..(because i am worried if the next forthcoming generations will be gifted with these kind of great upanyasams )

Hey SK, I am not an Iyengar, but do you have any grudge against Iyengars? Your comment sounds very harsh, doesn't it?
That is not iyengar face paint swamin. Its called 'thirumam kaappu' or 'oordhva pundram'. Its a sign of shrivaishnava showing his subjugation to Lord shriman narayana. The red or yellow center line represents Shri Mahalakshmi and the white line represents lard shriman narayana's lotus feet. There are lots of philosophical explanations, but this is the simplest way to understand. And iyengar are only a small part of the larger shrivaishnavas. Among shrivaishnava there is no difference of caste. Adiyen daasan.

The word vishnu occur many times in Geetha
Narayana and vishnu vasudeva denote same person as mentioned in vishnu Gayathri
