Did it just become too much at 41? I’m curious as I’m 35 and have been thinking about getting a board for the first time in a good 15 years. Just to learn some light stuff and hopefully get my 7 y/o nephew into it.

Their friendship and genuine, humble attitude shines through and is very appreciated, especially from Tony Hawk who has been Skate royalty since the 80's. Really takes a special person to be this humble after accomplishing more than anyone in Skate history. In times of trouble I ask myself what Tony Hawk would do. Literally two men, in our lifetime changed EVERYTHING thought possible, and the way it just continues is the most beautiful art you could ever witness in your life. This is the butterfly effect in motion, and every time i see modern skating i cant help but be completely filled with joy, to be in the presence of such beautiful athleticism, such innovation. Those two Men, Hawk and Mullen Changed the world FOREVER. It's like the opposite of the atomic bomb, where that was created to destroy, what they created set off a chain reaction of more creation, of growth, to see a part of humanity that never thought we would witness. I feel its one of the greatest things of our lifetime and the scope of it, how far it reaches and is felt, is like looking up into the night sky, absolutely wonderous.
