Yeah, that’s right, going down the ‘change the settings for hiding the pics’ takes so long that nobody would, could and should bother with it. I’m fact, I just tried and it took at least two and a half seconds and even three on a bad day. 🙄
It isn't the share button. U gotta open the photo u want to hide and there's 3 dots in a circle on the top right of your screen. The "hide" feature will be the 3rd option down
It’s easier to just download a photo vault app because it requires a password to access your photos and videos the photo vault app I downloaded is free in the App Store.

Ikr the private mode in Samsung and xiaomi is so helpful at times
You can just use the notes app. Add your photo into the note, and set a password to lock the note.

Good Video in reality this is how to hide the album of hidden pics
That's why I am using Samsung phone, there's an in built app from Samsung called "secure folder" and it's great.
Thanks now I can hide my missing uncle’s dead photos
if face ID lock is used while activating the Hidden album folder in the settings then the albums are really hidden.
