Great video and driving! I just came across your channel today. I have a 22 Spyder and drive it all the time. April 22 delivery and have 20,000 miles on it 👌. I also have the Kline inconel cat bat set up - I absolutely LOVE the sound. Anyone driving behind me on PCA drives raves about it all the time. Very exotic. I've done a few mods but mostly ben cometic. Next one will be the DSC controller. Haven't done anything to the suspension, but will track the car next summer so this is all very helpful. Which Forgeline wheels did you end up getting? Brave man to roll the rear fenders!!
Man that is epic! What is the exhaust setup? Kline OPF delete and backbox? Is the sound just of the helmet mounted gopro? Sound capture is pretty good and not too much wind noise...lovely driving ser.
That’s right stock headers and Kline inconel with opf delete. With top down it’s loud and sounds amazing. In gt4 it would be much more muted. Still passes smog in CA with valves closed.
New car?! Guess that old Cayman you had before made a real impression. Looks like a lot of fun, it's obvious how good this car is at translating your inputs into beautiful speed, must be perfectly balanced! Hit me up sometime my man, been trying to get a hold of you for ages!
Top up is definitely faster, especially with the windows up - but I'm enjoying it so much like this. I did notice top up windows up I was about 2mph faster on the main/back straights. If you're sticking with street tires try the Nankang AR-1 or Goodyear 3r. Otherwise Dunlop Sportmaxx2 is great as well. Cup2 is basically as fast for a few laps, but falls off so hard mid session and after a handful of sessions, I don't recommend those long term. Kept them as my street tire.

@@danielelim8276 Let me know what you think of them on the GT4. Totally transformed the car for me. I recommend finding a solution to have the valves either fully open or closed with the button, so you can have it always loud when you want or always quiet.
Thanks! Definitely agree. I see consistent 136-137MPH GPS with top down and the one time I had top up (and windows up) it was consistently 138-139MPH GPS. Very happy with it.

Thanks! One small thing I just did it switch from DS1.11 to DS3.12 pads. I wasn't aware of the new compound, so excited to try these out (just went on yesterday for May track days). Next item probably next year would be MCS 3-way coilovers, which would give me the option to run real slicks if I ever wanted to, or just dial in my current setup further. I may try adding some of the aero bits for under the car to help with the Venturi effect as well, especially since the car has minimal downforce. That's about all I can think of. I'm happy with the straight line speed because it keeps consumables down, and I love the look of the car.

Top up (and windows up) I did one time when it was very cold, the organizers allowed it, and I saw 138-139mph GPS. With the smaller rear diameter tires it's off 3-5mph on the dash now compared to the previous tire was pretty close.

I'm on the stock Cup 2's don't think they'll last very long. How did you like the 3Rs? I know its hard to get them in stock size, I'd rather not, but might have to get a set of 19s. Love the content!

Was the best thing I did on the car imo. It is valved and I have it so when it's closed it is at all RPM and open the same. When it's closed there is no drone and it is very quiet - basically the same as stock with valves closed.
I set up the car to fit my driving style - I slide the rear all the time with T/C full off, which means I require a lot less steering angle from the front (requires a lot less tire up front than most driving styles). This means I need the most grip in the rear. The stagger feels great with the Goodyear3R's and my style combined. Very balanced.
@@TurninTrackOut I need more tire up front for some of the medium speed corners on my GP circuits. I'm on stock tire sizes right now, moving to what the gt4 clubsport is running soon. I can see yours is setup well for this track and well balanced. Was just surprised to see the stagger you're running. Good job 💯
I still can’t believe you’re doing 52s with the top down… insane driving. Just goes to show the only mod needed is seat time and instruction.

Great driving....even with the speedo running fast that car has great hp and gearing to hit nearly 140 mph at the end of the straight.
