Ages and i mean AGES ago I got into a ranked game with flanked and he was so rude and nasty it completely turned me off to his content, i remember this stuff going down like it was yesterday though.. I wasnt surprised it all came down on him. I always enjoyed Rouges videos and was glad to see him get cleared of the accusations against him.

Now Flanked I knew about for _years_ my dude, I was one of his fans. But I kept quiet about his name in your stream due to how controversial he was to avoid starting drama or a witchhunt, however he did help me when I was new to Siege (started in Y3 Operation Chimera) and I'll always be grateful for that, no matter what anyone has to say I'll still give credit towards the source of knowledge, even if it's tainted. Rogue 9 I was also a huge fan of, so it was heartbreaking to hear about Flanked throwing Rogue under the bus like that. Since then I moved onto other creators but still very sad that the lust for power corrupted a beautiful friendship and caused 2 Siege creators to become inactive indefinitely. A while ago Rogue-9 was accused of sexual harassment by a ubisoft employee, and got effectively blacklisted from any official interaction with ubisoft. Rogue-9 contests these claims and says the interactions with said employee were perfectly normal. Some screenshots of conversations between Rogue-9 and the employee are publically posted. Some people say the stuff inside qualifies as sexual harassment, others don't. As a result of Rogue-9 effectively being blacklisted, Get_flanked was basically given the choice to cut ties with rogue-9 or get blacklisted as well, of which he has chosen the former. A while back Rogue-9 uploaded a big video documenting this entire fiasco from his perspective detailing how he believes that he has been targeted by ubisoft employees abusing power for personal vendettas. He has also been throwing shade at get_flanked for not supporting him during this. Ever since then the two of them have been feuding with each other with Rogue-9 accusing get_flanked of lying about the situation. - reddit

I've been off siege and siege cc info for about 2 or 3 years now ever since I quit, I saw this video and was confused then it clicked in my head and now I remembered this entire drama that happened. Honestly I was already quitting around this time so I didn't know how it all ended so this video wraps everything up in a bow nicely for me now that it's been concluded long ago Edit: oh I just remembered as well, I watched it happen around when it was almost concluded. I remembered get flanked straight up privated videos, put it on his second channel and got HELLA backlash. I was against him as well
I was watching all these guys actively on YT as this all went down. Funny enough, it was right after all this drama that I walked away from rainbow entirely. I was already struggling with maintaining interest in the game up to that point. It wasn't even an active decision, it just happened right after this situation. Either way, I loved watching Flanked, Rouge, Icycat, tuxbird and all the siege creators at the time. It was a real bummer so see this whole thing go down the way it did. Then icycat and KixSTAr passing. It was a lot at once. Looking back, I can definitely say the game/community is a shadow of its former self, from back when these guys were all still active and getting along. Feels like that was all the starting point of the decline of siege as a game/community.
I still got my Get Flanked hoodie at least. That thing's comfy. I stopped watching his videos years ago, after I stopped playing Siege, but it was also after all this drama went down, so I saw it all. The thing about GF that made me lose interest in his channel was that, while his personality was relatable, his content wasn't, at least not to me. He claimed to be the creator who was the most in-tune with the average Joe Siege player, yet he was a platinum level player who only played Ranked and made Ranked content. That's not what I was at all, and not what I saw as the "average Joe player." To me, the average player was somebody who got on for a couple hours after work or school, and played some Casual with friends to relax and have a fun time; not somebody who put in endless frustrating hours to grind as high a rank as possible. In short: someone for whom games are a diversion, not a job. So GF's content just didn't apply to me. On the flip side, Rogue-9 was the Siege statistician extraordinaire. His content was objective, fact-based, and showed you how best to play the game, depending on your playstyle. THAT content is relatable to everyone, regardless of rank. I watched his stuff all the way to the end.
I remember the whole Rogue 9 thing. I’d already started watching less of GF cuz his vibe felt a bit forced, but when all the shit hit fan I stopped watching entirely.
I don't have a side on this, but Rogue9 shouldn't have gotten involved romantically with a potential employer, especially knowing this is a very unique opportunity for the podcast. It may have not been a problem or caused any harm at all. but, what if? I think the real answer is going back to the beginning of this comment, everything after is just them saving face.

Man its sad to see how this went. I was one of the head mods in his discord for many years. he did help many people when it comes to siege. for instance the caster AceOfPyrite he was a mod for GF for many years to, GF helped him get into casting and helped many others to come into the scene whether that was helping people with pro play or helping other get into teams like analyst or casters. either way he helped many people. its just sad that this was the one thing that cast a shadow on his career. He's still a friend of mine to this day and hopefully both R9 and flanked will get back to a stable viewership. both content creators were great. even if you like them or not seeing someone fall from something like this is horrible to see.

So, where was the actual evidence that Get Flanked was lying? To me this all sounded like, "Rouge 9 sounds like hes not lying and Get Flanked sounds like he is lying". The fact that Get Flanked, pete, and ubisoft all cut ties with him makes me feel like there is more to the story than what rouge 9 says and they just didnt want to out him completely. Im not saying flank isnt in the wrong. But it sounds to me like Rouge 9 was probably being shitty with the Ubisoft employees, who then became shitty back, but because he was in a bad mood he refused to believe he started it. Thats pretty normal for upset and angry people, they manipulate situations to justify their emotions. I lost 15 minutes of my life hearing the opinions of a random youtuber without any circumstantial evidence of what really transpired at all, just the same videos we have all seen. We will never know what happened because Pete "didn't want to meddle", but it's quite easy to see when you have 3 people as part of a team and one is removed, it usually takes the other 2 folks agreement that that person was in the wrong and wanting them out. Not to mention that Dillon decided to put stability for his family first by accepting a position at Ubisoft when he saw the downward view trend that Siege in general has had post-covid and the strain on his family and mental health.

I stopped watching his videos years ago, after I stopped playing Siege, but it was also after all this drama went down, so I saw it all. The thing about GF that made me lose interest in his channel was that, while his personality was relatable, his content wasn't, at least not to me. He claimed to be the creator who was the most in-tune with the average Joe Siege player, yet he was a platinum level player who only played Ranked and made Ranked content. That's not what I was at all, and not what I saw as the "average Joe player." To me, the average player was somebody who got on for a couple hours after work or school, and played some Casual with friends to relax and have a fun time; not somebody who put in endless frustrating hours to grind as high a rank as possible. In short: someone for whom games are a diversion, not a job. So GF's content just didn't apply to me.
On the flip side, Rogue-9 was the Siege statistician extraordinaire. His content was objective, fact-based, and showed you how best to play the game, depending on your playstyle. THAT content is relatable to everyone, regardless of rank. I watched his stuff all the way to the end.
I remember the whole Rogue 9 thing. I’d already started watching less of GF cuz his vibe felt a bit forced, but when all the shit hit fan I stopped watching entirely.
I don't have a side on this, but Rogue9 shouldn't have gotten involved romantically with a potential employer, especially knowing this is a very unique opportunity for the podcast. It may have not been a problem or caused any harm at all. but, what if? I think the real answer is going back to the beginning of this comment, everything after is just them saving face.

That example you gave at the end is a typical seige thing. Virtually the only thing that anyone had on gf. The dude was ok but truthfully, seige is competitive and not fun. I'd blame ubisoft for being at the core of the drama. Just about as good with their employees as they are with their games 😂

Man its sad to see how this went. I was one of the head mods in his discord for many years. he did help many people when it comes to siege. for instance the caster AceOfPyrite he was a mod for GF for many years to, GF helped him get into casting and helped many others to come into the scene whether that was helping people with pro play or helping other get into teams like analyst or casters. either way he helped many people. its just sad that this was the one thing that cast a shadow on his career. He's still a friend of mine to this day and hopefully both R9 and flanked will get back to a stable viewership. both content creators were great. even if you like them or not seeing someone fall from something like this is horrible to see.

So, where was the actual evidence that Get Flanked was lying? To me this all sounded like, "Rouge 9 sounds like hes not lying and Get Flanked sounds like he is lying". The fact that Get Flanked, pete, and ubisoft all cut ties with him makes me feel like there is more to the story than what rouge 9 says and they just didnt want to out him completely.
Im not saying flank isnt in the wrong. But it sounds to me like Rouge 9 was probably being shitty with the Ubisoft employees, who then became shitty back, but because he was in a bad mood he refused to believe he started it. Thats pretty normal for upset and angry people, they manipulate situations to justify their emotions.
Again i dont know any more information than anyone else, and since pete pretty much stayed out of it other than removing him from the podcast its hard to say, i wish he would've spoke up and saved someones job. It could also be a classic they were both in the wrong.
Also saying flanked was flirting with the ubisoft employees seems like a jump, he has a wife and kids. And most people arent going to do that especially in such a professional setting.
TL:DR: This is all speculation to make Get Flanked to look bad, because Rouge 9 sounds sincere. Even though all the evidence is just a he said she said. With that stated, more people split from him than anything else. Seems like Rpuge 9 was the problem looking more objectively.
I lost 15 minutes of my life hearing the opinions of a random youtuber without any circumstantial evidence of what really transpired at all, just the same videos we have all seen. We will never know what happened because Pete "didn't want to meddle", but it's quite easy to see when you have 3 people as part of a team and one is removed, it usually takes the other 2 folks agreement that that person was in the wrong and wanting them out.
Not to mention that Dillon decided to put stability for his family first by accepting a position at Ubisoft when he saw the downward view trend that Siege in general has had post-covid and the strain on his family and mental health.

Yeah cant get how ppl really took rogue-9 side when he posted/ showed the messages. For me not one answer from the girl was really trying to led him on but just normal answers. But for someone in love in said person maybe took it in an other way but i definitely saw get_flanks view on those messages. Loved them all but i could not agree with rogue-9 in this aspect at all because it looked more like somebody who was annoyed about his feelings wasnt answered back in the same way :/ then hes follow up video just made it worse imo.
