Last one is a hint I should probably take. I forget to make sure the other person is cool with where we're going or what we're listening to/watching on tv etc. I just assume they'd speak up if they wanted to try something else but the comments on this reel have shown me otherwise 😆 not everyone is comfortable with conflict or speaking up when they want something different. It takes a lot of conscious thought to meet in the middle on these day-to-day things.

Ok well all are red it seems bc I’m dating my ex husband the covert narcissist. I really need to find the strength to take my own advice and make a plan in preparation to do more than just say goodbye to him bc of how I know I’ll be during the “detox” stage after leaving him. It feels like I’m losing everything after all these 15+ yrs.
Sending love to all those who need help remembering who they were before abuse, let alone who’ll they’ll become after they’ve fought it.
    We are warriors 🌋✨🌱🌳

It's like brushing your teeth. Once you learn how, you do it more often than not. It's a learned skill. You have time ❤

saying no to one thing means saying yes to something better. You have limited resources, and you deserve a Yes that holds weight, for you and others. If you give away the power to make honest choices, you will only wind up resentful of the ways other people's decisions affect you. "never" is an idea, it doesnt benefit you to rule out the future. its okay that you just arent comfortable doing it now, and struggle to imagine how it would work for you. thats a place to begin for yourself, if you decide that you want something different.
