I am a part time Chauffeur and have a "Fragrance Wardrobe" of over 200 bottles. That said, if I were to choose a "Signature Scent", it would be Houbigant - Fougere Royale. My go to fragrance for the Gym is John Varvatos - Artisan Pure . . . As I deal with a lot of folks weekly, and a variety of events, I have several choices that work for various seasons, different age groups, gender, nights out, Funerals, Weddings, etc. As for building a " Fragrance Wardrobe", it takes time ! The recommendations here are excellent ! I would also suggest watching a variety of TH-cam fragrance reviews, as well as referencing sites like Fragrantica. Personally, I don't feel completely dressed to leave my home for the day without spritzing on a fragrance for the day. Thanks for sharing your great recommendations Jeff !
@@Chilltown95 I refrigerate the ones that I am not using at the moment . . . which seems to make them last longer overall. Thanks for asking . . .
I own 24 frags in my collection (about 4 frags per ocassion). I like to have good variety but not go over the top with hundreds of frags that I'll never wear. 24 frags should be enough to last me a good while. Great vid as always. Salute my brother 👍🏽
I own like 15 I love a variety and I have to find out what to wear during what occasion... I just wear what makes me happy in that point in time but I don’t put the same cologne on everyday they would drive me crazy if I don’t have to
This is by far the SAFEST MOST STANDARD advice on TH-cam. If this is your first time watching a TH-cam fragrance review..... Jeff the style og just gave you the basics.
I have 15 selections of cologne.... I recently purchased a bottle of Burberry and Jimmy Choo... I wanted to try something new... I really like both fragrances.... It's important to me to always smell great.... Great advice... I picked up some new fragrances by watching youre video.... Salute...
I have too many, I have close to 80 bottles alot of Niche and designer fragrances. I just like to smell different every day. I separate myself from the pack, if every guy is wearing Chanel blue & Paco Rabon. I wanna be the guy wearing Parfum De Marley or Amouage women love a good smelling man especially a smell that they can remember how he smelled.
My cold weather cologne is Dior Fahrenheit ,my everyday is CK Be or Mont Blanc Legend, summer is Polo blue and Ultimate Blue ,statement or night is Versace Eros or Dior Sauvage . I need to try the Valentino Uomo and Spicebomb . Another great video my friend !
I 100% agree with starting off with the safe fragrances for a guy that has over 45 at home. I like to smell different from everyone especially if they're wearing the usual popular fragrances, I go for some of my niche fragrances that ladies will remember you for smelling unique and memorable. Great content O.G Stay blessed 🤜🏾🤛🏾💯
I totally Agree great list another cologne I personally like to wear during warm weather is Versace Dylan Blue & during cool weather is Prada Luna Rossa Black get a lot of compliments or different people asking what are you wearing it smell really good and a cheap cologne for fall time maybe early spring is F Pour Homme Black by Salvatore Ferragamo Great Video Jeff
I knew Spicebomb was coming. This was great breakdown a everyday all day, Just got paid, cuddle buddy, Warm and Cold weather scents. I agree wouldn't change a thing
Just say 5. Versatility is key and keeps you interesting. You can't do that with 1 fragrance. Example: Signature = Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio profumo or Versace Dylan Blue, Summer = John Varvatos Artisan Pure or Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua, Club = Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male or Azzaro Wanted by Night, Date = Guerlain L'Homme Ideal or Tom Ford Noir Extreme, Winter = Givenchy Gentlemen edp or Rochas Moustache edp. Personally I feel like if your going to have 5 fragrances (I feel) like 1 should be a niche fragrances. Guaranteed you ain't going to smell like the rest.
I’ve been bingeing on your videos. I can’t believe I missed out on them for all these years but now I am subscribed so I won’t miss out anymore. Thanks for all the help in bettering myself. Salute! -Rudy K
1) A dumb reach every day errand casual frag. 2) Date night. 3) Office/Work/Business meetings. 4) Clubbing frag 5) Super hot summer day cooling, light, crisp frag. 6) Very special event/black tie event expensive & exotic frag. 7) After the gym shower. 8) Hipster weird original bizarre scent frag, good for morning coffee shop & shopping.
I agree with you, right now I have 4 bottles of cologne, including D & G The One. When you mentioned having an "intimate" scent one fragrance that came to mind (which is in my collection) is Lancôme's Hypnôse, think this scent is very under rated. It smells like a strong scent, maybe at first, but it softens up.
Gotta recommend some John Varvatos fragrances. Dark Rebel and Dark Rebel Rider are great winter scents. Artisan Pure is a great white floral fragrance that works well if you are in a tropical vacation setting.
Wow! We must have the same taste. I started my collection with Aqua Di Gio, later added Chanel Bleu then Dior Sauvage. All great scents. I used YSL here and there but it didn't impress me like the other 3 did. Keep putting us on game my man.
Nice one!I agree that 5 would be plenty, unless you trying to build a collection.I own 80+ now and this could be very addictive and expensive hobby.Watch you spending budget, don’t be a compulsive buyer.Colognes are must have accessories in your wardrobe, and it damn feels good when pretty ladies give you complements for it!
Wow! I've been rocking with five scents for over a decade now. I guess great minds think alike - here goes: My everyday scent is Kiehl's "Musk Eau de Toilette" - It's classic! I get tons of compliments from women when they smell this scent; it's pretty much my year round "go to" fragrance; I always keep an extra full bottle on the shelf. My spring/summer scent is "HAPPY" by Clinique. It's citrusy, light - and doesn't over power. Once again, I get many compliments when wearing this fragrance My night time going out scent is "1 Million" by Paco Rabon...this scent always grabs noses no matter where I go. My other two scents are Dolce & Gabana "Eau de Toilette" and "Bleu de Chanel" I may add another if something grabs me.
I collect cologne so I have roughly 60 options..... however they are categorized by occasion and season. One of my new favorite colognes is Mercedes Benz Intense. It's a pleasing scent profile and more modern take on Dior Fahrenheit.
When you get into colognes you need more than one because you don't want to get bored, just buy stuff you like, buy good quality and try not to blind buy stuff, smell them first and then go online and buy them. You'll figure it out with what you need and it all depends on what do you do: do you go clubbing, do you go to bars, do you go to restaurants and so on, where do you work, also what makes you feel good and is in line with your way of being. If you have trouble deciding just buy a Versace Dylan Blue and you're good.
The One is my everyday scent. Regardless of scent, the key is how to wear your cologne. Many men do not understand this important process and it costs them regardless of what they're wearing.
I developed collection colognes as a hobby over a year ago. Many are rack store pickups and those and I have found that buying to just buy and try is silly. You should own as many as you have room for and how many you can realistically wear.
A great eye-opening video, Jeff. I never thought about colognes along these lines. I've been matching colognes with the seasons. Live and learn. Salute!
I say stick to versitile fragrances, with this in mind 12 fragrances max to suit your mood should be enough. Seasonally appropriate fragrances are awesome but you end up locking up half your collection for six months. Any situation, any season, day or night but have variety.
I agree with everything you said. Personally I have to keep at the least between 10 and 2o different colognes. A different scent for a different occasion. One thing I would say you left out is cologne for active wear. I like the classic Polo Red for that purpose.
I agree with most of your selections, however i wear Terre D' Hermes Parfum as my fall signature scent. I would suggest that you try Terre D' Hermes eau tres fraiche or Terre D' Hermes eau intense vetiver for the warmer months. Otherwise, you always provide insightful information.
Got: 1) Versace Eros 2) Versace Flame 3) Gucci Black 4) Heritage 5) Nautica Blu (edw) Somehow I had five before watching this vid. Still got some on my watchlist. Guess I’ll wait a bit
I enjoy these types of topics. I definitely agree with your pics. I have a great deal of fragrances to go with different occasions 😊. My safe pick would be Channel Platinum Égoïste. I don't club anymore, but if I did it would be my Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Profumo. My date night scent is Issey Miyake Nuit Noir Argent. My favorite summer scent is Swiss Arabian Shawq. And lastly my winter sent is Mancera Red Tobacco and The Sent Private Accord Hugo Boss. You have done another outstanding job good Sir!
Good one OG! Savauge Is my Go to. I have like 8. It all depends on what I feel like spraying. But to answer your question. I say get all the cologne you can afford. It is to many good scents out there to be just having 1 or 5. My collection grow every month when I smell something new. Jimmy Choo Intense, Bvlgari Wood essense, Issey Miyake, Sean john unforgiven just to name a few. Good Looking O.G. :)
New sub here. I have about 14 deferent scents. Of course they range from fall, winter, spring and summer. I also have a couple year around scents as well. One my favorite winter scents is F by Ferragamo Pour Homme. Its also a bit of a beast so don't over spray. I have been wearing that fragrance since I was a senior in high school. I'm 30 know, so that tells you how much I like F by Ferragamo Pour Homme lol.
Thanks a lot for this! I been wondering how many I should own for a long time now. I always rocked one for yearrrrrrrs ( curve crush ) but I wanted to start expanding my horizons and get more on my grown man status. I previously own now 3 ( thanks to your video on summer scents ) club de unit, Azzara, Nautica voyage. So I am starting to build a Collection now. Thanks bro
My collection according to your list 1. Bleu De Chanel 2. Emporio Armani Stronger With You/Intense 3. YSL La Nuit L'Homme 4. Versace Man Eau Fraiche 5. (Stronger with yous ahgain)
The date night scents were good choices. I also think Tom Ford Noir Extreme is a good one. For winter I also highly recommend John Varvatos Dark Rebel.
Great vid. I love that you explain the reasons behind your choices. YSL La nuit de l'homme is perfect for cooler weather like in the SF Bay Area, and can go from day to night.
Prada Carbon proved to be a good everyday choice for me in the past. I'm up to 9 scents now and have been rocking Spice Bomb since the fall started. Love it💯
I'm with you all the way, OG. I select scents by season, but all from the same perfumery, because why mess with what you love? I keep 3 main scents, my signature, and my warm and cold weather alternatives. The others come from samples and gifts and change once in a while, but you got it right. I usually always have five to select from, except 2 of them always changing :)
I started out, bought 10 at once IDK if it was wise but i liked them all, now I do not know what to use each one for, can I get some help? I got: -Spice bomb infrared EDT -Polo red EDP AND EDT -Jpg ultra Malé -Adg EDT original -Náutica voyage -Paco Rabanne one millón elixir AND phantom parfum -Azzaro sport AND a small 30 ml Antonio banderas Golden secret.
Great videos bruh, I appreciate you because I have not been into fashion over the years, but I’m getting older and trying to make changes in my wardrobe to not look like an old man. So I salute you brother!
Jeffrey , You mentioned evening fragrances , like Bvlgari , but my question yoy mean to go to a nightclub , evening dinner What exactly I prefer an Azarro
My 5 categories are: 1. Day time casual 2. Day time formal 3. Clubbing 4. Date night 5. Black tie event You can have summer/winter for each category which would make a complete collection of 10 fragrances for any occasion.
This is so dope and identical to the categories I have, including summer and cooler periods. Also, The daytime formal for me would be work/office. I have 2 for each situation.
Pick something like YSL Y edu or Chanel Allure Homme Sport eau extreme and it will take the place of 1 and 2 all season, so 1 in place of 4, possibly 5 as well
Great video Jeff. As far as ever day versatile scents, I do not recommend any of the three that you chose (Dior Sauvage, Aqua Di Gio, etc.) For everyday versatile wear I recommend Calvin Klein Eternity, Perry Ellis Red 360 or Very Blue, Kenneth Cole Reaction, or Azzaro Chrome.
I tried spicebomb but found it overwhelming. What about original polo green? I used to get every lady coming around just to catch a heifer on me when I was a kid and wore polo green.
Great video once again! To be honest I own at least 10 gives me a great variety to choose from plus I own at least 5 of the colognes you have in the video.
Can't go wrong with cologne picks from Jeff the Style O G. I love your cologne vids and picks. I have so many colognes they cover the top of my nightstand in my room.😂 I rock that Dior Sauvage and Bleu De Chanel for spring and summer This fall and winter I'll be rocking Spice Bomb and I have Valentino Uomo. I'll always value your picks and opinions on colognes Jeff! 👍 Salute!!
Pack Rabanne 1 million privé or Invictus would be my go to. I just picked up that Spicebomb infrared, Azarro wanted by night, and Nautica Voyage. Trying to get the fragrance collection up so I can have more options.
Younger OG here Jeff. Got any suggestions? Everyday cologne: Aqua Di Gio Pour Homme Clubbing: Azzaro Most Wanted EDT Date/Intimate: YSL La Nuit de l'Homme EDP (the stronger one) Warm weather: Nautica Voyage Cold weather: Suggest one from the list below Other fragrances I own for some reason: Versace Eros Flame, Issey Miyake l'Eau Dissey Pour Homme, and Jack Black Turbo Body Spray. Help an OG out? Salute.
Cold weather checkout- John Varvatos "Dark Rebel". You gotta put the cold look fashion on point effortless Henley long sleeve, jeans (dark), boots and rock leather jacket or aviator nylon jacket. Last Winter, I called the my DOA (Date On Arrival) meaning the cologne tag them and up to me if I want to close the deal or just playful banter w/o intent.
Dylan Blue as a everyday fragrance (I say that because Acqua di Gio lasts way less than it used to). Prada L'homme as a office/business meeting fragrance.
Five to eight I think is ideal. Anything more and you won't really be able to fully appreciate the cologne, as you're not using it enough. Less than five is too small of a collection. You will run the risk of getting bored of your cologne before it's finished.
Own most of those. What about a gym scent. One that smells kind of sporty and hides the workout sweat. Not sure why but I like Naitica Blue, Tere D Hermes, Drakkar, Paco Robanne P Homme, and NO 4711 and if it's cold Dreamer or Spice bomb. Do you have a gym cologne???
Just watched the video I admit I have always been a oil man now watching this video I need to get some cologne. Ok I will be online shopping tonight. PEACE AND BLESSINGS OG.
My bad OG. You said 5, I thought you said 50, now my wife's mad at me...
Hilarious!

-Azzaro sport
AND a small 30 ml Antonio banderas Golden secret.
Great videos bruh, I appreciate you because I have not been into fashion over the years, but I’m getting older and trying to make changes in my wardrobe to not look like an old man. So I salute you brother!
I only have 3. The One EDP, Eros EDT, Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme.
Good choices
What does allure smell like
@@MrRZA3636 Amazing.
Hey man, what do u consider putting these in? Creed Aventus, Prada Lhomme, Creed Millesime Imperial, and Creed Silver Mountain Water
Great Video. 5 is good, but he can never have too many. Nice work.
Thanks Gail !
Jeffrey , You mentioned evening fragrances , like Bvlgari , but my question yoy mean to go to a nightclub , evening dinner What exactly I prefer an Azarro
I think I’ve watched this before. But I’m going to watch it again!
My 5 categories are:
1. Day time casual
2. Day time formal
3. Clubbing
4. Date night
5. Black tie event
You can have summer/winter for each category which would make a complete collection of 10 fragrances for any occasion.
This is so dope and identical to the categories I have, including summer and cooler periods. Also, The daytime formal for me would be work/office. I have 2 for each situation.
@@TA-ht4jo Glad you like it and yup me too daytime formal is mostly office wear and the occasional more elevated weekend events
Pick something like YSL Y edu or Chanel Allure Homme Sport eau extreme and it will take the place of 1 and 2 all season, so 1 in place of 4, possibly 5 as well
@@agent475816 yup a lot of category picks will cross over. Makes your collection even more versatile
I can’t stop using ADG. I have never gotten so many compliments as with that company. Have to try out the cold weather fragrance. Great video again!
Thanks Jason !
Appreciate the input Will !
I tried spicebomb but found it overwhelming. What about original polo green? I used to get every lady coming around just to catch a heifer on me when I was a kid and wore polo green.
You killed it again as always brother
Thanks Kenneth !
There is NEVER enough fragrances. I got started on this about two years ago and it’s now an obsession.
You def need an everyday scent, datenight, winter, n summer. The more you have the longer they last. Like sneakers.
Great video once again! To be honest I own at least 10 gives me a great variety to choose from plus I own at least 5 of the colognes you have in the video.
Appreciate the input Eric !
On point. Five scenarios, the kind of cologne you need, and some good choices. This helps a lot. 😃
Glad to hear it !
👍 Salute!!
Salute David !
Everyday cologne: Aqua Di Gio Pour Homme
Clubbing: Azzaro Most Wanted EDT
Date/Intimate: YSL La Nuit de l'Homme EDP (the stronger one)
Warm weather: Nautica Voyage
Cold weather: Suggest one from the list below
Other fragrances I own for some reason: Versace Eros Flame, Issey Miyake l'Eau Dissey Pour Homme, and Jack Black Turbo Body Spray.
A frag that's something thick & cuddly.
Five to eight I think is ideal. Anything more and you won't really be able to fully appreciate the cologne, as you're not using it enough. Less than five is too small of a collection. You will run the risk of getting bored of your cologne before it's finished.
Peace
You’re definitely doing your thing brother, keep up the good work and keep pumping those lessons. Peace
Peace Craig !
Great content OG, Im new to the cologne game just purchased my first frag last month. This was very informative. Thank You.
No problem!
🔥🔥 starting my own cologne brand soon
Nice !
Nice list. But I personally think u should have added 1 for upscale event and 1 for work scent.
What’s the difference between the summer and winter colognes from your everyday cologne? As far as circumstances go for using them?
Hey OG. Would you call “By the Fireplace” a date night fragrance? Prada Black Luna Rossa is my everyday pick.
Jeff, you should do a video on Pashia Cartier, best fragrance of 2020 in my opinion.
Just watched the video I admit I have always been a oil man now watching this video I need to get some cologne. Ok I will be online shopping tonight. PEACE AND BLESSINGS OG.
