Great video, I had a programmer approach me a few months ago about something I wrote about 25 years ago.. Yes code was out there, my documentation had my name on it. He said to me that the code he saw in the program was some of the best stuff he as ever seen. Felt good, Felt a little old, but it felt good. All of what you talked about is very true.
Thanks 🙏. I wrestled In high school and was part of the unofficial boxing program (military boarding school was fun lol) but basically some of the most disciplined and focused people are athletes. So I basically just applied the same logic while learning to code.
Great video! And programmers should workout out more, it is a common stereotype for tech guys to have bad physical health and some even embrace that lifestyle. Physical exercise like lifting weights and cardio have some of the highest potential for nootropic effect and even perform better in comparison to supplements that are designed to enhance cognitive ability. So tech guys should really be working out if they want to enhance their problem solving skills and working memory. I'm still a fairly amateur programmer, but I'm going to take on the challenge!
Yeah, the benefits of more blood flow to the brain from cardio and weight training, are significant. It helps in so many ways. Plus, sitting at a desk all day doesn’t help if you don’t offset it with physical activity.

Love this vid, grew up a wrestler and treating coding like a sport really has changed the way i perceive it
