I was in second floor office of Real Estate Office on streets and I dunno if the scav saw me go in, or heard me from outside or saw me pass by the windows walking around the conference table, but all I know is I was grabbing a Veritas pick off the table when "kaboom" I die to a nade that flew into the room through the windows and landed right at my feet. extremely frustrating because there was ZERO audio or information whatsoever. no scav yelling outside, not even the glass breaking as it flew into the room. just the clink of it hitting the floor and then kaboom

I was at concordia in the Gym building when I got hit with a nade in the L-corner of the second floor. I thought I just randomly exploded. Then saw "Nikita RWBY" Torso, armpit (f-1 grenade).
I feel like the netcode has gotten worse. The point between where you are when you die and where the enemy shoots you feels like its alot more than it used to be. They really need to try patch it as much as they can
@DeformedPie I mainly notice even in Tarkov Arena which boasted to have improved latency that I am dying around corners and I am actively having to memorise this lag in order try and win. It's annoying but no game is perfect unfortunately.
no amount of patching can correct a game that has issues such as the one you're describing when the entire game is built on spaghetti code that barely works

Hey Toeknee, IDK what the complete equation is for "Audio Range" with vs without headsets, but the range of having no headset has been equated to 45, vs the max range being the ComTac VI's with 63 in range, this wipe is more so about ambient noise reductions with headsets versus the hearing range. No headset is 1 for noise reduction, and 5 for the VI's. I think this information is somewhere on the subreddit in more depth.

I can't stop playing ABI for some reason. I feel like EFT is like the older brother dying from overpriced cancer with hacker tumors. Tried getting back to it, UI/inventory felt clunky and not fun. Not talking about P2W stuff, just gameplay feels much better IMO on ABI.

This is my first wipe on Tarkov only 44 hours, so I don’t understand the “head, throat” drama. If someone could explain that would be appreciated. When I play tarkov I literally ONLY try to aim at the head unless I’m spraying and praying when I get surprised. Over 75% of my pmc kills are by headshot.
Because the addition of throat hitbox made it so you are more likely to get 1 tapped, helmets with full face visors also won't protect and you are left with soft armor parts from your gear to protect you from it. Many armors do not even have throat protection or it is a low tier. The result is getting 1 tapped more often without being able to play around it, which just feels shitty at times. Mainly an issue mentioned vs AI or player scav, people are generally not complaining if they are being killed by a pmc. Ex: you wear your lvl 5 helmet, lvl 5-6 full armor, geared for like 1 mil+ roubles, get into a raid, get 1 tapped by a bullet with 65 damage and 25 pen. This is an extreme example, but change the exact armor for the best anyone can individually equip and the result is the same
I feel like they murdered .308 this patch. You can't even flea m80 rounds, and it suddenly acts like a 9mm instead of the round full of hate that it is.
Wanna know the nice thing? Even Arena breakout turned into this ratting random 1 tap shit. I got penned with lvl 3 ammo through lvl 5 chest 3 times now eventhough they tanked lvl 4 armor against lvl 4 ammo ☠️

servers are so dead recently that they soon have to add the pve pmc ai to pvp so it doesnt take 15 raids in "high traffic" areas to get 10 pmc kills

Throat needs to be a thorax hitbox. Arms need to be penetrable and armor damage increased
