my day job is a quality inspector for beoing, and ill tell you that those things are tanks! dont believe everything you see in the news about the 1 incident here and there involving an aircraft. there are 16.4 millions flights per year in the us alone. it is statistically safer than driving! and we test those things to no end. dont worry, relax and know that your pilot probably has something like 10,000 hours or more in that captains seat.
