Thank you for not mentioning COVID-19. We are all inundated with the hysteria and talk about it. We do need to take precautions, but I am not losing sleep over it. Wow that was ton of trash today! Glad you were able to pick up some good things. We can always count on you to bring us a good wholesome video!
I’ve found crazy things in the trash baseball bats, working lawn mowers, dvds. Sold them all. One of the best finds was a big box filled with older metal cars I sold the box for about $80
Good morning Taco Stacks. If one of those kiddy pools is in good shape I am sure Salsa would love to have one. My two dogs love theirs! ps: Please get yourself a bottle of hand sanitizer and keep it in your van so you can sanitize your hands after each pick-up. Your gloves don't protect you from viruses.
thick leather gloves do not protect?????? Why could the virus be sitting on items left out in the cold for a few days? Would sick people be hauling out trash to curb that is loaded with virus? Try to get sanitizer when all the crazy talking people have grabbed that and the toilet paper. Just to inform everyone, the preppers were talking toilet paper shortages 5 years ago. NOT PREDICTING IT, treating it like a joke, gee, wonder who caused the problem? Who believes it when the paper mills in Wisconsin are doubling and tripling their output to calm the fears of the people who believe the preppers? Calm down everyone, and don't make a bad situation worse.
You find some really cool items in the trash and i really enjoy your videos. Keep living your dream. You work really hard at living this dream and it's impressive
I wouldn’t have taken those kiddie pools from the recycling center because they looked too beat up, but if you see any while trash picking that are in decent condition, grab ‘em and donate ‘em to the animal shelter so their dogs can cool off in the summer.
You can make a batch any size you want but I mix 1/2 cup olive oil and 1/2 cup white vinegar. Mix it up. Get a good rag and wash that 3 drawer dresser down with it. Then wipe it off. It will look reconditioned! You can google oil/vinegar cleaner and people swear by it. I thought Taco and I had something in common but I was wrong. I talk in my car but when he does, people actually listen!
you should have taken those old wooden frame windows at 3:33 - people make all sorts of things from them - medicine cabinets, ets., and usually fetch good $$$ at secondhand furniture/building supply stores.
My town & the next town over have ordinances in which nothing can be on the curb except the garbage receptacle. You are lucky to be able to find so many cool things on the curb.
I don't think he has a clue, bless his heart. I am also thinking his parents must help fund him. A scrapper with a new van, nice house with land and an expensive jeep??
Great haul, nice old wooden dresser toward the end, very good workmanship on thatt.... It could be historic and valuable.... That cast iron chair was very nice too.... If its welded its a great piece... Those white windows in the begining of the video looked good too..... thanks for sharing:)
You found some good stuff!! Love that rolling cart & dresser!! That little chair was cute. Maybe you can find someone to fix it for you. Be safe & take care of yourself!!
Exactly....I just been watch theses types of shows do to the VIRUS....and they have no ideas what's valuable or not they takes the junk ...valuable stays on the curbs
Hey Taco, I watched BlueBusDave pick a whole box of casters awhile back. If you need to replace that caster for the tray stand, he may have one that will work.
Groovy rolling cart. Back to 70 or 60 s. You should grab old windows. We crafters love them. How fun to go through large junk piles. Fun video. Thanks for keeping us from going stir crazy.
Taco it’s just amazing how much stuff you miss or not look for stuff. Are you afraid you might get a little dirty..... your trash picking look around so what it smells or it has a bit of mold on it, soap & water goes along ways, cleans items you get & washes you. Money lost
It’s interesting. When we watch your videos we can’t see all of the details or smell anything. There is such cool stuff and then you say how bad it smells. I’m thinking, “Oh man, that would have been so cool.” Love your videos. You impress me with how well rounded you are - kind, hard working, funny...something kind of rare today.
And he would do that why? Scraping isn’t a finesse type of job. If he finds valuable stuff GREAT. But if you’ve listened to Taco the best he can do - if not finding things he can sell on eBay - is to break even. And stopping to clean junk lowers his own valuable time. Not to mention he’d have to them deep clean his van.
4:05 the minute i saw it i knew people would start raging in the comments. Taco never takes everything. Plus he just bought 3 units. And yes i am yelling through my mobile phone to take the trunks.😊 10:04 yeah he forgot the vacuum cord.🤷
Loved that dresser and the table also liked the green chair good for you Taco you didn't have a wasted day Lots of places are closing here in the UK due to this virus God only knows what this will do to the economy You take care of yourself Taco x
Epoxy putty might fix your caster. I didn’t get a close enough look at it. Ive had containers of Apoxie Sculpt for 3 years. I keep it in the fridge. I try to fix whatever gets broken. I. Fixed a cracked mini vacuum door with craft sticks 3 or 4 years ago. It still works. Lol
You can take some Clorox water and a little soap and clean the trunks ( and alleviate the smell, too) and that's a $20 dollar bill at the very least for each one if they are in decent condition. The advantage of picking up some of the older ones that are in terrible condition is that you can use the handles off some.....Sometimes you have to put a little work into an item.......Edit----What do you want to bet the other guy takes the stuff and you see it at the next flea or auction, wherever the man sells? LOL
Linda Foyle It’s amazing what you can put out and what they’ll take if you’re standing by with $10.00 bills for the driver and helpers (tip/lunch money)...
That rack you picked up at the beginning looks like one of those 60's salton or sunbeam hot trays...check it out and see if it needs a cord...if so its a food warmer and they are midcentury coolness and people like them. If i were anywhere near you and not across the country I'd buy it lol
Tacostacks, whenever you come across a women’s pure ALWAYS take the time to go through it completely! You will find cash, gift cards, jewelry and much much more.
That Vtg Bar Cart 🍸🍹🍾💲ell for $100 and up {even as is!!!} someone would fix that castor wheel,It has Cool graphics 😍🎨original paint job very mid-century and popular in home decor!!! Great Find 💰
Taco that small wood dresser you picked up is a Very Collectible Antique!!!! Wipe it down with some - OLD ENGLISH POLISH - You should get a good price for that 80 - 100 - year old Antique Dresser!!!!!
Those old large trunks, w/some elbow greese, they could have been saved, perhaps on the insides of the trunks, cleaned out & aired out, then perhaps put cedar chips in them, or fragrant essence oil. The spot where you found the dresser, the small wooden rack would have been a good seller, to be used for a # of things, plus the 2nd dresser you sai," was shot", that was a view from the back of the dresser, you didn't go to look @ the front side of it or try it's drawers. The old furnature is become harder to find & is made better back then to stand up to time aswell as long term storage. There still are people that will fix the old furniture up. But I know it can take up storage space for you?
We love you, Taco. Love your conversation and looking at the neighborhoods. Please don't EVER stop. Your work ethic is to be envied.
The rolling cart is groovy! Like WOW man. Heading over to the Brady Bunch’s house for TV dinners tonight.
John deer truck, you left it go back,, LOL

I couldnt believe you didnt take the Lincoln Logs
There was lots n lots of “takable” items he walked away from 🤷🏼♀️
I know right!?
Cash on the curb. He's too young to know what they are.
Jeff ha? They’ve been making those for over 100 years. 🤷🏻♀️
I was going to write the same thing! He could have sold it on ebay for more than all the other scrap he picked up
That green round metal chair would make a great plant holder

Yes, Lincoln Logs, some people like to use them to make log house bird houses.
So that's how you treat an antique dresser, dated in the 1920's? Stuff and scratch into the back of your van!! Wow!
Crazy!
Pretty disrespectful. This is the first video I saw, and yeah, no appreciation at all.
Those old Windows are wanted for crafting and home decor. I love your channel!!
Omg that midcentury tray is amazing! I think I would have taken the potters bench also. Great finds today! Be safe and healthy!💚💙💜💛
I was practically shouting at you to grab the John Deere digger truck! Some little lad would love that.
Shonas me too! That is a smaller Empire Style dresser.

No, the purpose of Taco's vids are to remind us that if the worst thing we see today is his chaotic packing we are probably having a good day.

Those old wooden windows here are very valuable, I get $30 apiece for them, lot of crafters here
Salsa needs a kiddie pool!....Thanks for another awesome video:)
Those window frames with the partition glass sell well as shabby chic picture frames ... you should pick them up
