I believe in random acts of kindness. That fella probably is supplementing his income. You wouldn't believe how many old guys came in to apply for a job at the big box store I worked at. One guy needed to work to pay for his wife's medicine. He said they were choosing to eat or buy meds. I just wanted to take him to the grocery store and the drug store and give him a little break but I could tell he was really proud.Thanks for sharing

Those battery-powered mowers are wonderful! I have had mine for years. Just understand their limitations and you’re good to go. Replacement blades and batteries can be found on Amazon. Give it a try before you scrap it out!

Btw you can buy a pack of cheap baby wipes -make sure it's the kind of pkg that has a plastic snap closure - and pour a half bottle of rubbing alcohol into it, letting it soak down into all the wipes. This is working VERY well for me, and only cost $2 total. I just keep the pkg on my truck seat, where they're very handy for instant access.

The black round things are slide carousels for a projector. You could get more for them as a lot on eBay than you'd get in scrape.

Just for the heck of it, I would have taken the clipping bag with that mower, I got one from a guy who didn’t like dealing with the cord, was offered offered another one because I guy thought battery was to expensive to replace. So I would take a chance and take the bag and possibly have a complete mower for the swap meet.

I also am very mecanical and could fix things . Love your videos , as the thrill of the hunt will never leave you . I worked hard but made tons of money ! I just parted out the same electric mower. The charger and safety key are the quick sellers on those. Sold both for just over $100.

It’s the humidity that’s making you sweat. Don’t forget to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated and cool. You might even consider water with electrolytes, the same thing athletes drink, because you also do a lot of physical activity. This will become more important in the summer when it gets even warmer outside.
I like how you go and weigh your scrap.
When I get to unloading I back up to the load area, open back doors then back up a bit more climb in and throw stuff out, saves me keep climbing in and out.
So surprised to see those slide projectors you picked up. I found two boxes of about 20 of them just this week along with the projector in the original box that I’m going to try and sell at my garage sale.
Use some of your scrap wood to build a little platform, 2'X3' or so, so that it's two easy steps into the van instead of one big one.

In Michigan I've been able to find the gel sanitizer and disposable gloves at the gas station. I had been looking for weeks at stores and online.

Gel? Just add Aloe Vera to your liquid sanitizer to make it "jelly". You can make your own.
Just make sure its the " Gel " type, not to be confused with the liquid aloe. :~)
