Loving this van life series! Doesn't hurt your in my favorite area of the country right now! Most people retire and move to Florida. When I retire I'm leaving Florida for the north west!
Just remember blended diesel fuel or adding additives to the fuel reduces economy, but necessity in cold weather diesel vehicles to prevent gelling up. Good Luck stay warm :)
We have been full time for 10 years in a Class A. Most Whole Foods locations have Amazon lockers, comes in handy to have things shipped and easy pickup.... cheers! Great channel!
The Wind River range in Wyoming is epic. Gotta check it out. The entrance at Big Sandy trailhead is not too far from where you are. Worth the drive! Although will have heavy snow this time of year. Next summer it should be on your list!
I full time RV and just started in July this year. I have a small class c and sure do wish I could get out to places like that in the winter --- eventually. For now I'm chillin way south. Thanks for the amazing shots! Happy Trails!
I've done some backpacking in the Grand Tetons National Park. July 4th 1976 I took Granite Canyon Trail over into Alaska basin and back down through hurricane pass into Jenny Lake and believe it or not I got snowed on. Beautiful beautiful country. One day I will start my travels again except this time I'm not going to walk I'm a little too old for that now. have a great day and stay safe!
Awesome stuff! My wife and I went there for the first time at the end of Aug. We stayed in Victor, ID and would drive over Teton Pass each day to Jackson and then north. So beautiful there. We want to return and do north Yellowstone and Glacier.
In you're winter camping begins and Glacier National Park I noticed you were using a solo stove. I don't know if you know this if you do just disregard it but if you take dish liquid and smear all over the bottom of your pot it is so much easier to get that smut off of there. It saves on a whole lot of scrubbing. Just a tidbit of information about outdoor cooking. Have a great day stay safe!
Next time you're in MT go check out Phillipsburg. It's a cool old town that has been rebuilt with the Sweet Palace and a neat pub/brewery and a lots to check out.
Another great episode of Stuff & Things. Talon is definitely living the good life. Total freedom to travel and stay where he wants. That's just awesome.
Great video as always. Thanks for bringing us along your journey. It’s been great to watch you cinematography improve along the way as well. The Shot of the sunrise with the transitions and music was so dope. Keep up the good work.
Nice! I’ve stayed in that area a couple times! It’s hard to beat that view with the sun reflecting off the mountains. Glad you got a spot, it’s usually pretty crowded. We’ve seen million dollar buses and 5th wheels dragged up those roads.
Good! Nothing worse than thinking you have the perfect spot only to find a bus or 5th wheel. Their where some brave people pulling them down the trails this fall.
Oh and you can't forget to visit Teton Village! Maybe get downhill action! After your visit head east over Towgetee Pass to Dubios, visit The Cowboy Cafe for some great food. Continue on to Lander and check out Sinks Canyon SP. Head north from there to Thermopolis thru Wind River Canyon for some excellent views. Stop in Thermopolis for some Hot Springs swimming.
Nice video man the mountain range across from the Tetons , they call it the sleeping Indian , if you go towards star valley about 15-20 minutes in the drive there is a hotspring you can check out is really nice
Liked and Sub'd! Grand Tetons are truly epic. I have seen and lived in all the areas you are covering recently, Utah, Idaho, Montana, and more in my years. I can really relate to the grandeur you do such a fine job of capturing here. The Tetons are some of the most rugged mountains I have ever seen in the US.
Bruh all the people that say Idaho is nothing but desert have never been in the Mcall area or the sawtooth national forest. Definitely worth checking out
You can still get to Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone throughout the winter and the road from Gardiner to Cooke City is a good wildlife and wolf watching strip. Additionally, Yellowstone in the winter is an incredible experience! Completely distinct from a visit in any other season.
I stayed in that exact camping spot late this summer, 1A just above the elk refuge! Just now watching the video... Also I grew up in southeast Idaho and there are some cool places to check out you just have to know where to go!
Gorgeous scenery! Always jealous of your freedom to wake up and choose what state you want to head to next! Also appreciated the change in background music. 🤣
Great video. Been to Glacier and seen Grizzly bears and that beautiful park. Also have been through Yellowstone and the Grand Teton NP. Will be there again in early July. I just subscribed, thanks for the awesome video.
Keep these coming! I rented a 2021 Revel last week to do some nearby glamping last week and plan to do some off grid (boondocking) this week along with going a couple hours south for a PRS and SPR match this weekend in Florida with temperatures getting allllll the way down to the 30's! Tell me more about your 2021 build, would you do a straight lithium Revel or base sprinter with all the owl and other build outs? I am about to move some commas next week to put my shiz on the road! Maybe meet you out west for some snowboarding in Park City and maybe a long range class with Buck Doyle.
Minute 10:00 only word to describe the view is STUNNING. You are showcasing the Revel and its capabilities especially with the Espar System. Why Winnebago it’s a Channel sponsor is beyond me? Thank You Safe Travels.
Made this trip last week. Camped in Mammoth (only YNP campground open all year) and then went across the Lamar Valley to Cook City and back. Its where us locals go after all the tourists are gone. :)
Yeah it’s too bad Yellowstone seems like it’s always got closures lately but that area is must see. He definitely needs to come back once the parks open back up. It would he beautiful around the parks too either way though
I came to see if Talon's personality has changed much.....and wow I was pleasantly surprised. Glad to see you not being a brick wall in your video! So proud of you!
Dude, the algorithm is getting way too specific! I was just camping there in my van like 1.5 weeks ago. It was such a sick spot. Never seen your channel before, but will subscribe! (I was also upset to skip yellowstone)
You missed out on an amazing part of Yellowstone: The Lamar valley. Best part of that valley is it takes you to cooke city. One of my favorite spots to go in the winter for some thumb therapy AKA snowmobiling!
I live in southeast Idaho and those folks that said there's nothing here there wrong. Take hwy 30 off of i15 go through lava hot springs and soda springs and it's a beautiful drive
Absolutely Crazy! In my day when you were seen talking to yourself you were thought to be nuts today you are considered to be making YT videos!! Be safe my friend love all the beautiful sites open or not.
Talon...love your channel and have been following you for a while now. We have a 2020 Revel and many of you your upgrades are relevant to us as well! Sorry about the advice you got about Southern Idaho which is absolutely beautiful, including the Sawtooths (photo)!! Saw that you had added the extra solar panel and wondering if you are still running with the AGM batteries, and how that is working for you now? We have toyed with the idea of switch to Lithium Ion but, as you know, those are expensive and have many other things we want to do, so haven't made that leap yet.
awsome- i love van life. I love Jackson, 5 hours from Sun valley. huh Idaho doesn't have any thing to see, Snake river canyon, Twin Falls, Shoshone falls, Box spring canyon, Blue heart springs, Haggerman, Sun Valley. , Pioneer, and Sawtooth mountains, Redfish lake, Stanley, Ketchum. Idaho boarders 6 states and one country, on and on.
Some beautiful views right there. At some point during your travels you should travel to Cerro Gordo and visit the guy that lives there all on his own. That place has some killer views 👍🏻
Such a dope, inspiring setup. I'd want to outfit one with an amp and small music setup myself, and travel around and play and meet other musicians, covid permitting.
Maybe once I hire a full time editor. When Traveling filming editing and posting 3 videos a week all by myself my time is a bit limited. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
No, I bought the van with the espar system. When I visited Agile we relocated it and tied in the secondary heat exchanger - th-cam.com/video/RS4JgRPOtEI/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching!
Loving this van life series! Doesn't hurt your in my favorite area of the country right now! Most people retire and move to Florida. When I retire I'm leaving Florida for the north west!
I've camped exactly where you were at in Teton before! You should see it in the spring! Tons of pink and yellow flowers!
Just remember blended diesel fuel or adding additives to the fuel reduces economy, but necessity in cold weather diesel vehicles to prevent gelling up.
Good Luck stay warm :)
As a fan of diesels, I like when you talk about the challenges of diesels in cold weather. Enjoying the content. Be safe out there!
the channel has come so far. idk why. but I was just thinking about how I came across this channel back in the Boston Days. crazy. much love talon.
We have been full time for 10 years in a Class A. Most Whole Foods locations have Amazon lockers, comes in handy to have things shipped and easy pickup.... cheers! Great channel!
Awesome Ray! Thanks for watching 👍🏻
JFC DUDE! Priceless filming and photography! You're going to look back on this footage when you're 80 and be damn proud. Thanks for sharing man!
Thanks for watching Chris
The Wind River range in Wyoming is epic. Gotta check it out. The entrance at Big Sandy trailhead is not too far from where you are. Worth the drive! Although will have heavy snow this time of year. Next summer it should be on your list!
Dubois over Union Pass to Pinedale. EPIC
I full time RV and just started in July this year. I have a small class c and sure do wish I could get out to places like that in the winter --- eventually. For now I'm chillin way south. Thanks for the amazing shots! Happy Trails!
Summer in that area is by far my favorite place.

Go to Jackson Hole Wyoming! Also, FANTASTIC camping in Driggs Idaho (about 45 minutes west of Jackson Hole).
Awesome stuff! My wife and I went there for the first time at the end of Aug. We stayed in Victor, ID and would drive over Teton Pass each day to Jackson and then north. So beautiful there. We want to return and do north Yellowstone and Glacier.
Talon, you have an artistic eye for capturing the beautiful scenery that this country has to offer...👍🏼
Any weird encounters on your trip? Would be a great video. Thanks for taking us on your journey!
Amazing views Talon! Congrats on making it on CNN! Stay safe and stay warm! Looking forward to your next video!

That sunrise on the Tetons was nothing short of magical. Awesome !

May be the best videography of the trip. Beautiful and thank you for sharing it with us.

Beautiful b role. Great vid. Keep them coming
Your the best thing on TH-cam! That sunrise B roll! Damn!
Nice! I’ve stayed in that area a couple times! It’s hard to beat that view with the sun reflecting off the mountains. Glad you got a spot, it’s usually pretty crowded. We’ve seen million dollar buses and 5th wheels dragged up those roads.
No 5th wheels where making it up the road that day

Just did this exact trip last week !! You are correct, I Live near Butte, so this is a local secret , shhhh.
I stayed in that exact camping spot late this summer, 1A just above the elk refuge! Just now watching the video... Also I grew up in southeast Idaho and there are some cool places to check out you just have to know where to go!

I asked if they wanted to work together but never got a reply 🤷🏼♂️ That’s why I don’t refer to it as such very often. Thanks for watching Avery.
Always a great day when Talon uploads in the morning!
absolutely
Dude, the route in the N entrance of Yellowstone and out the East side is a great way to go to to see the most bison, then head over to Rushmore
Made this trip last week. Camped in Mammoth (only YNP campground open all year) and then went across the Lamar Valley to Cook City and back. Its where us locals go after all the tourists are gone. :)

LOL... I have family and friends in Idaho, the standard response from Idahoans is ALWAYS "don't come here, theres nothing to see here, stay away"...
Yup exactly nothin here stay the hell out
Your missing a lot of the Tetons. Go out to Morman row and antelope Flats Road. Lots of moose hanging out there now. Great views of the Tetons also.
I did just not shown on video
On the Bucket list for sure.
awsome- i love van life. Check out the grassy lake road camp sites along the snake river in Teton NP. Perfect and beautiful. You can locate the spot on iOverlander.
Loving the extra vid drops this week 🤙🏻
Loving the extra drone shots recently
Idaho Falls and Twin Falls, Idaho are interesting. Also Rexburg. Salt Lake City area has some great ski resorts.
Wicked drone shots man, love it 🤙
Killer sunrise shots!
Epic trip. I hate cold, though.
Some beautiful views right there. At some point during your travels you should travel to Cerro Gordo and visit the guy that lives there all on his own. That place has some killer views 👍🏻
Such a dope, inspiring setup. I'd want to outfit one with an amp and small music setup myself, and travel around and play and meet other musicians, covid permitting.
great ambient music (Cerulean Skies - Tree Shadow) thank you
I’ve camped that exact spot haha. Come visit rexburg!! It would be cool to see the van!
I recommend Ripplewear side window and windshield insulated /magnetic covers. Which video do you discuss the heat exchanger installation?
Linked in the cards
Did you wrap your cabinet doors? Looks great. My hood is wrapped in similar pattern.
I have. Wrapped in black multicam like my hood.
I don’t know if this has been said in the comments below. Do y’all see a face impression (more like half of a face) on that mountain? It’s dope!
10:10
Elk bugles are the best. First time hearing it was at Yellowstone.
Awesome shots!
Stunning!
Awesome !
Nice Timelapse of the sunrise at 10:00 minutes
You should drive to Romania to get some sick shots of the new Monolith that just popped up!
You should go and do a winter snowmobile trip in Yellowstone National Park.
Amazing Views!!!!
Def gave me a new dream . What model can do you have ? / upgrades can you make a vid or is there one already ?
th-cam.com/video/RS4JgRPOtEI/w-d-xo.html
Word has it that Talon Sei has the monolith in the back of his van.....Shhhhhhhh!!
Another awesome video from the dopestvloginthegame. Beautiful footage and can't wait for the next one. You doing VEDUC this year?
Negative 🙅🏼♂️
"Nothing to do in Grand Teton" ??? its a winter wonderland out there, Jackson Hole is filled with stuff to do sir!
I was talking in comparison to some place like Yosemite in the summer
Are you getting Starlink anytime soon or once its available more areas?
nice, i'm currently writing a geology report on Yellowstone/Teton.
if you add some optical flow to those drone shots, they'll be more buttery smooth ;)
Maybe once I hire a full time editor. When Traveling filming editing and posting 3 videos a week all by myself my time is a bit limited. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Hey! Are you using a diesel heater to warm up the van? Or do you have any electric furnice as well? In that case do you have a link to it?
Thanks!
Great Time-laps of sun rising over Tetons! S-Bar heating system, did Agile put that in for your?
No, I bought the van with the espar system. When I visited Agile we relocated it and tied in the secondary heat exchanger - th-cam.com/video/RS4JgRPOtEI/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for watching!
You should of checked out to Tetons from the Idaho side. In the city of Driggs and the City of Victor you wouldn't believe the views.
No issues with freezing pipes at -3F? Did you have to insulate the galley area any for that?
