As for if the restring works well, it depends on the shape of the guitar, but most importantly where the knobs and pickup switch is. They could be in the way of your picking.
I also a lefty but like it's really weird I'm only left handed while writing and drawing but I'm right handed with literally everything else including guitars. I think it's because when I was younger I was originally right handed then I was right and left handed and now I'm just left handed but only writing and drawing.

on every 2nd track you can hear the note changing is smoother , like your finger is already there. On the 1st tracks , there's a ''thinkin'' milisecond. Its subtle but you can hear the confidence difference haha.

I had only been playing lefty for two months before I switch after breaking my left hand. But I preserved and it shows in my playing today ❤ 🎸

I tried playing guitar left handed after playing right handed for years. And with me being cross dominant it was somewhat easy. Writing left handed and using utensils like scissors or knives. I couldn’t play perfect obviously but comfort was there.
I teach younger kids at my school how to play the flute, and I had a kiddo that brought in a LEFT HANDED FLUTE and asked if I could teach her how to play it 😭😭😭 I eventually decoded it, but it was honestly harder than learning a second instrument

it's hard af to find lefty instruments - and other things!! growing up in the 90s, my cousins, my brother, and i all learned to play instruments that were easier to crossplay. piano 🙋🏻♀️, clarinet, drums, etc. my mum couldn't teach us guitar at all back then, it was just sooo bad. 😂

Now, I took it to a music store and reversed the order and have the cutaway facing towards me. The music shop owner was kinda in shock when I asked him if he can do it. LoL It kinda feels comfortable because I can see the string more clearly 😂. I played it for 2 months in COVID left it and started again 3 months ago for 1 hour every day. I'm thinking of getting a left-handed guitar when I completely learn the guitar(ig it'll take 2 years). Relived to know there are still people like me 😅
@@zainabamirkhan1530 Thing about left-handed ones is that, in my experience anyways, it's pretty rare and it's pretty sad that they cost a lot more so you have to opt for symmetrical looking ones
@@aebhosor4835 Here in India I've got my eyes on a decent guitar company 'Vault'(not sure if it is indian) and both left handed as well as right handed guitars cost around 110 USD. It definitely isn't the cheapest in India. I can say that it's decent. I'm also saving up some money and I'm planning to get a left-handed guitar with a cutaway because my hands are small and without the cutaway it's always difficult to play the higher notes.

I'm a left handed guitarist. It's was so difficult to find left handed guitar. Many lefty guys won't find left handed guitar and they will get suggested to learn right handed guitar only like so many people being left handed learn right only but I think in future left hand will be normal

I can recommend it tbh. Im a lefty too and tried to learn right handed for nearly a year and didnt make much progress. My strumming was not good and i had bad rythm but since i switched to left handed i got much better in a shorter time and later got 2 left handed guitars. Worth it
I am learned ambdiextrous so it doesn't matter for me left or right handed. Around a year ago I bought a good left handed guitar, just for the sake of it, but only recently started playing it. In around 2-3 years my second guitar would be right handed and I'll probably play both handed (one day left handed, one day right handed lol).
I play left and right, but i prefer to play left, i started left handed at least 4 months ago now, and i still suck lmao, i can kinda do alternate picking but it's sloppy, lol.

I just bought another guitar 🎸 and it needed new strings. And I started putting them on upside down 🙃 but caught myself and put them on correct.
As a lefty who plays guitar as righty, i can say that u can just tass the strings imversive and study, it is good for classic and Accoustics.
