so this is my last vlog from finals week!
this is just a chill, productive day as a student at the university of glasgow (glasgow, scotland) during the final day of revision.

I work at Glasgow University as a support worker. Hope you enjoyed your experience. I do not like Glasgow city center....its a mess these days. Worse than i have seen it in my 38 years of life in Scotland. But Byres road and the University are so nice for me. I am also a historian but i went to Stratchlyde Uni and graduated in 2007! Coffee House is where i hang out, read, write etc when i am between lectures for my students I support!
hello- that's awesome to hear!! and i'm sorry to hear that about city center and i def do agree that the west end is much nicer. i love the area that the uni is in too though, esp the coffee house!
hey! i’ve been binge watching your vlogs as i am trying to decide between u of g and ucsc :) how would you say the workload is like? the grading system?
hello!! honeslty i think the workload isn't bad at all- instead of getting busy work (at least for history) we are assigned bigger assignments like essays that are graded. we get about two per semester, plus the final exam!!
I wanna move here but everyone keeo saying it's unsafe your thoughts
I honestly think Glasgow is very very safe (especially where the university is located, as it is located in the west end) but even city center feels very safe. I feel safe enough to walk around at night and honestly, Glasgow is one of my favorite cities!! I hope that helps; I know some people may disagree, and everyone's experiences there will be different!
