Midnight mass at St. Mary Of The Lake
But it starts at nine to keep us awake.
Serenity pairs with solemnity
As the music seizes eternity
The cantor’s voice singing so heavenly.
Making this holy night quite evenly.
Father Sergio is welcomed joyously.
Exalting Jesus’ birthday gloriously.
Joyful and triumphant, we sang and prayed.
Our savior is born, as music is played.
The Belen becomes photographable.
No crib for a bed is believable.
Christ is born thus it is called Christmas Day.
For all Christendom, it has been that way.
