Firstly, I figured that Arthropleura vs Anthracosaurus fight would be a WWM reference. And Secondly, what do you know, Stethacanthus outlived Dunkleosteus.
@penguinagents2015 Yep, it is a reference to Walking with Monsters. To the point that I decided to reuse the footage because it would be difficult to simulate that in the game. Stethacanthus actually lived until the very end of the Carboniferous about 298 million years ago. This creature will also be returning in my take of BBC's Sea Monsters
I really hope that Anthracosaurus will be rescued in a later part of the episode (since in the main series none of the amphibians were rescued, but I hope this will change in this series). 😊 Although, I'm not sure how would Stethacanthus will be rescued, since it is a fish...
@Dylan-Hooton Unfortunately, Anthracosaurus and Stethacanthus won't be rescued. It's just tough to get them back to the 21st century, especially for the case of Stethacanthus. There will be an amphibian rescued later in the form of Hynerpeton.
@Dylan-Hooton Maybe Saving the Sabertooth will have an extra rescued species in the form of some kind of ground sloth. I'm not sure about Mammoth Undertaking yet. Part of me wants to rescue the Cave bear, but part of me is also nervous about it taking up too much space.
Meganeura could only flap its wings as fast as a modern bird, but since the OG came out in 2006 I won’t complain to much
@LordBumblebee1238 Yeah, and it's just reused lines from the original.
@ Yup
@@LordBumblebee1238 It's just like the Triceratops line in the last episode

@@kairyu9207 So no new species rescued in this episode? :(
@Dylan-Hooton Aside from the spider, which replaces the scorpion, no
