175 mod sled videos are by far my favorite. It's insane to see how much better that thing does in deep snow than all of the other sleds. Props to you on that build man!
It's funny everyone was like I Need a 146 turbo. For whipdeee doos . Now after seeing this they all.want a 199 inch turbskiii. Hahhahahaha been riding a 175 and it's always the best.
Never wanted one. Been 154 life for my last three sleds, 3 years on each. Good times. But. Now things are different. Now, now I want one. Lightweight 175 turbski. Videos are definitely the best to watch on go pro. And that can only mean one thing. It. Is. Awesome.
In my opinion the cat is the most fun videos to watch the turbo stuff is awesome too but seeing the na struggle and make pass after pass just reminds me of what riding used to be like before turbos. Great video!
Keep the Cat videos coming! Stay committed, Stay positive. Learn about how to set up the fox shocks. Makes a huge difference with handling. Get the sled in the air or on its side to adjust air pressure. This includes the evol chamber. 150 in the front shocks is only rideable on a groomed trail. This sled is designed for the mountains. Deep snow off trail. None of the problems it’s having should surprise anyone. First year sled. I snowchecked a 2012 proclimb that thing was geared wrong, clutching was terrible, steering sucked, they were blowing the Suzuki engines due to air in the oil line and how it was routed, it blew belts like crazy, something about a brake cover I’m sure theirs more but I can’t remember it all. Sled came with a 1 year factory warranty when I bought it. Cat sent me a letter about 6-8 months after I bought it giving 3 additional years factory warranty. Cat and dealer covered all my parts even the belts. I still have that sled. I had Polaris before I bought cat 2003 vertical escape 3 engines, 2009 dragon 3 engines too. What Polaris do for me just gave me the middle finger. Sleds can be a pain in the ass. I still think sled’n is awesome!
It's refreshing to see for sure, most people can't say enough bad about a Cat even if it's a small issue (Which in this case it obviously wasn't) but they won't bat an eye when the clutch falls off of their Polaris or the secondary rollers or reeds go bad in their Skidoo stranding them the same way.
The avy drill was absolutely great to see, the crew took it pretty seriously too which lets you know you’re with the right guys. 175 and 146 turbo vids are my favorite.
Disagree, my ctec rips! Wayyy less oil, better on fuel. Went from a 2015 to a 21, and both rip! Best question, las weekend dudes were like “is that turboed?” To be honest my ol 15 took me many places too
Really appreciate the avy drill you did and how serious your crew reacts, regardless how perfect it ever is, every occasion to practice makes better and even I benefit from watching, as I’m just going thru all the avalanche canada materials now prepping for my revy trip coming up, cheers to all of you and keep up and excellent comment, been a fan following for many years now
The NA vids are awesome for the relatable factor, but seeing you fly up climbs on the mod or even on the turbo also makes for great videos. For me its the variety that brings me back to watch every video!
The 154 turbo and 146 turbo videos are my favorite, especially the super deep days where it takes 10 runs to make a steep hill... just to easy on the 175. Nice to see you have to work at it a bit..
Your cat may have been built on a friday. I have 2 buddies with the 858 and we put on almost 500 miles already. No issues, none from my polaris either, probably because they're the king. I hope things get better for you!
Matt, you're an amazing rider and a pretty good content maker. I've been following you for a few years now, and personally, I feel like you always pick the right sled for the ride. Keep doing you buddy. Thank you.
THE CAT CAME BACK!!!!! I definitely prefer the CAT videos.... the other sleds are great but I bleed green.... to bad about the engine problems but I'm stoked to see the CAT in action..... the CAT wrap is stellar I love the way it looks.... nice to see Jason riding again... keep em coming.... u guys never disappoint....
Glad the cat is back. Good to hear that dealer support is working for you (the customer). Customer service is lacking in so many different industries these days because many feel like the customer has no other choice but to buy their products. I'd like to get an 858 Catalyst someday, but for now I'll keep my mid 90s to mid 2000s kitties going!
I'll have to say the 175 turbo is a pretty tight change of pace, but I really like the variety of everything. I also really like mission-based videos when you're going on a mission.
The mod sled is fun to watch with how it rips. But I like the Cat videos just cause its such a new platform and how well it does. Maybe in the future we see an Ibexx kit xD
Great wrap on that Blue Demon Cat! Hopefully all the issues are worked out with yours now, Mines been great. Funny to see that 20lb hammer swing on that Pooblem.
Love the 175 mod. It is great comparison when you see a skilled rider on a beast of a sled - makes you go places, of sorts. That said, I enjoy every single of your videos since you adapt to the sled and does some stellar editing, especially taken far from optimal conditions filming. Good job and God bless!
Great video Matt! Love the new chrome wrap and supremely happy the cat ran great all day for you. Looking forward to more. Hope you feel better soon and best wishes to you and your 'crew' from Ontario.
Glad to see the Cat is back. The blue chrome looks wicked! I like both styles. the 175 turbo is a monster which is interesting to see what you can go up. I like having to see you work for it also. hoping somebody buys Cat. I'd be sad to see them go, just when they started to get back on their feet.
I grew up in warroad MN. And as a kid it was polaris and arctic cat on lake of the woods doing their testing. I watched them all my childhood, and yet i can see myself owning anything but a skidoo. I know cat being closed really hurts a large area in MN for sure!! Lots of friends are out of a job.
I like the variety keep changing it up according to what terrain you’re on, I’d love to see a big power turbo Yamaha motor either in a Yamaha or a different chassis
To answer the question, I find all 3 paces of riding entertaining. The ability of the 175 is fun to observe and the slower methodical climbing is nice to see done well.
Jerry!!!! Once again in some crazy spots, handling it like a champ! Wrap looks great!! Whens the cat seeing a finger throttle? Thanks for the awesome vid
I’ll always watch your videos but I think the narration and commentary from you makes them even better most the time! Just my opinion but I’m sure there’s some others that agree somewhere!
I like to see all the styles of riding the 175 just makes it fun to watch you go places but there's never any tough times of trying to re climb a spot you couldn't make it .. zig zag back and forth ..
As painful for me to say as it is, we should all want to see all of the brands succeed. Each brand brings ideas and innovation, and the snowmobile community needs this. I chuckled when it died, but then thought, what if I spent 17k on one and it blew up….. I’d be super bummed.
love the garage segment, please post more garage content now that you have the full shop in revi. P.S just received my summit hoodie my wife ordered for Christmas, No poo poo hoodies? love the content, keep it up matt
On-x is a must! Cpl weeks ago in Yellowstone we had a storm sneak in on us at 4pm and I’m not sure if we woulda got off the mountain that evening without it. Couple ridges we had to cross visibility was like 100 feet or less at times. Sketchy!
I've had every Brand at any time Blow up, mainly Sieze up from Lean conditions like you guys ride a lot, Mod Motors, Stock it don't matter!!! Usually got them running enough to get back on the Good Cylinder (s)! LOL! What happened? NEVERMIND Saw the Pic!
I like it all! Anything and everything I find entertaining. I was surprised how much I liked the catalyst platform when I tried it, ill give them a couple years to sort things out and put on some positive pressure before I switch back. If they make it that far…..
It’s fun to watch anything you ride but a NA maybe more because the 175 makes things so easy it’s nice to see your skill used to make it far as possible without turbo lol
2:20 oh the pain to be taking a customer out on his new sled only for it too blow up with less than 100 miles on her. Feel bad for the dealer he must have felt terrible haha
Sure hope you're right about CF Moto. (or SOMEBODY) I'm old and too fat to ride anymore but I always loved my kitty cats. Industry rumors I dig up say the main problem these days is the industry focusing on short term profits instead of long term gains. Yamaha is done, possibly Arctic Cat next, then if things keep going the way they are, Polaris next, then Ski Doo last since they have the deep pockets of Bombardier. Such a shame too, new chassis last year and brand new engine this year.
I thought BRP is now a separately owned entity from Bombardier? Going back quite a few years. Yep, thanks WIKI: "BRP Inc. (an abbreviation of Bombardier Recreational Products) is a Canadian manufacturer of snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, side by sides, motorcycles, and personal watercraft.[2] It was founded in 2003, when the Recreational Products Division of Bombardier Inc. was spun off and sold to a group of investors consisting of Bain Capital, the Bombardier-Beaudoin family and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Bombardier Inc., was founded in 1942 as L'Auto-Neige Bombardier Limitée (Bombardier Snowmobile Limited) by Joseph-Armand Bombardier at Valcourt in the Eastern Townships, Quebec."
Avi ll and practice all the time is also worthless if you ride with people that are not practicing too! Two brother in a slide in utah( with dad) one brother buried and other brother dug him out, saved his life. Always good to see you guys practicing.
Im sorry but I believe the reason cat is taking care of you so well and quickly is because who you are and having the channel to make them look good or bad. My wife has one of the 2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst M600 and has turned in a claim for the gauge and headlight completely fogging up to the point you cant even read your gauge and has even had it down to the local dealer and they just said they know its a problem but dont have a answer for it at this time. The claim has been filed twice now and it been over a year since the first claim and still nothing.
I’ve seen a lots of problems about the c-tec cats and since they aren’t mechanically oil injected or however it works but instead they have a little electric motor, you should put around 200 milliliters of oil in with the fuel it seems to work and run way better.
175 mod sled videos are by far my favorite. It's insane to see how much better that thing does in deep snow than all of the other sleds. Props to you on that build man!
I agree!
It's funny everyone was like I Need a 146 turbo. For whipdeee doos . Now after seeing this they all.want a 199 inch turbskiii. Hahhahahaha been riding a 175 and it's always the best.
That thing is a cheat code for sure!
10:05 answer: all are great. Slow is neat because it reminds me more of how I ride, but it is also fun to see big power fast climbs
Keep the Cat videos coming! Stay committed, Stay positive. Learn about how to set up the fox shocks. Makes a huge difference with handling. Wow, came close to some yellow snow 9:41 LOL
I was about to post the same thing lol
@@BLUEPHAN7OM Same 🤣
Wrap looks killer. Let's get a backwoods jump built for it!❄️❄️🏔🏔
1: that wrap! 🤩🤩🤩
2: I enjoy all your videos. I like the variety.
I love how you don’t spend 5-10 minutes bashing arctic cat after your experience thus far. We need more positivity in the snowmobile community
I'm still on my Suzuki 800HO. Sucks it seems in the last 8 years they haven't built an engine to live up to that legend
So true!
Disagree, my ctec rips! Wayyy less oil, better on fuel. Went from a 2015 to a 21, and both rip! Best question, las weekend dudes were like “is that turboed?” To be honest my ol 15 took me many places too
Got one too and it’s still a weapon
Ctec is way better than Suzuki in everything exept miles
Really appreciate the avy drill you did and how serious your crew reacts, regardless how perfect it ever is, every occasion to practice makes better and even I benefit from watching, as I’m just going thru all the avalanche canada materials now prepping for my revy trip coming up, cheers to all of you and keep up and excellent comment, been a fan following for many years now

I love it when Jason is in the house. Good to see you mister. By far; my favorite wrap.
We definitely need more of the guys bullshitting in the shop/parking lot after a long day of riding at the end of the videos!!!
"I just wanted to say how much I love watching your videos on your TH-cam channel. Keep up the great work!"
Great to see Jason back riding with you, seems like it's been a long time! What is it with those Polaris clutches, my goodness.
watching you on the 175 personally is by far the best footage over any other sled you've had on here
Your cat may have been built on a friday. I have 2 buddies with the 858 and we put on almost 500 miles already. No issues, none from my polaris either, probably because they're the king. I hope things get better for you!
36:26 “That’s how you do it” what a legend
That looked way worse than it was…actually got nervous for him when the sled came over top of him
13:42 Digging before you get stuck is a sign of experiance and skill. Most of us would probably tried to launch it🤣
A good spread of all the different sleds is great, its cool to see the different styles of riding each one takes
175 mod sled is my favorite as well. love seeing what its capable of.
The wrap is fricken saweet! "If it don't go, chrome it" I KNEW your dad must have told you that! He is not much older than me. Another great video!
The 175 is cool but love to see the new cat and watch what will happen next with it
Glad the cat is back. Good to hear that dealer support is working for you (the customer). I'd like to get an 858 Catalyst someday, but for now I'll keep my mid 90s to mid 2000s kitties going!
Cool to see how the long track compares. Even seeing how many motors the n/a cat needs to make it through a winter is wicked.
Variety. Glad to see the cat back. Where's the Polaris? It's fun to see you hop around on the different sleds and talk about them.
that dude working into the night on sled is my new spirit animal
I'll have to say the 175 turbo is a pretty tight change of pace, but I really like the variety of everything. I also really like mission-based videos when you're going on a mission.
The mod sled is fun to watch with how it rips. But I like the Cat videos just cause its such a new platform and how well it does. Maybe in the future we see an Ibexx kit xD

Good job and God bless!
Great video Matt! Love the new chrome wrap and supremely happy the cat ran great all day for you. Looking forward to more. Hope you feel better soon and best wishes to you and your 'crew' from Ontario.
I like a variety of videos. The 175 mod sled is sweet to watch , but I also enjoy watching you on the cat as it showcases your skill more so.

That blue chrome wrap is the coolest looking wrap ever!!!!
Dropping into challenging things like that might look bad but challenging is how you progress hats off to the crew for sending it
love the videos matt! the editing, riding and quality is awesome! and overall just amazing channel. best riding channel out there
its incredible to see that thing carve and climb from a stop on the side of the hill
Really enjoying the cat videos. Looks so fun riding that thing!
175 videos are amazing! I love these ones too.
Nice to see the cat made it another full day, hope it sees many more!
Love the n/a videos just to see where you can still take the base model sleds to!! Turbo 154 and 175 are entertaining as well to to see how they climb
PNW, get this man a Solid Turbo for that 858. 😁 And Jason throw a P85 on that beast!
I like the variety keep changing it up according to what terrain you’re on, I’d love to see a big power turbo Yamaha motor either in a Yamaha or a different chassis
Great to see Jason back on the snow
Good to see a new video up Matt...hope this means you are on the mend man.
175 is still the new hotness...and working out the bugs like the key issue.
Every shop should have a set of reverse twist drill bits. Perfect for Jason's situation.
I always root for Jerry, I am probably around his riding skill level these days lol. Go Jerry!
@darrellpatenaude3825 I'd love to be there. Just bought an 850 2 seasons back only have 400 miles on :(. Flat land. Knee deep snow is deep! Here :(
The 175 is badass and fun to watch but the 154 turbo is probably my favorite bc you can do a lot but you still gotta fight for it sometimes
I like all of them! Nice to see what different machines can do
I think the chrome wrap looks really good!
ridiculous that all these group ride/ride command/brp whatever systems don't all work with each other given rider locations a safety issue.
I’ll always watch your videos but I think the narration and commentary from you makes them even better most the time! Just my opinion but I’m sure there’s some others that agree somewhere!
That livery on the other cat at the start of the video was dope.
I really like the variate , seeing a little bit of each sled
Damn I want that machine, beautiful wrap on it!! Nicely done!!!
I like to see all the styles of riding the 175 just makes it fun to watch you go places but there's never any tough times of trying to re climb a spot you couldn't make it .. zig zag back and forth ..
Hey hey musky happy to see Deryk and his old man back in the mountains now that deryk is here fire up that podcast my guy we all want it
175 is awesome and all, but some 154 slow riding is also a teachable moment. How to navigate trees etc as most of us dont ride 175
The wrap looked amazing. Thanks for the video's.
Cleanest wrap I've seen. The Cat is back baby!
As painful for me to say as it is, we should all want to see all of the brands succeed. Each brand brings ideas and innovation, and the snowmobile community needs this. I chuckled when it died, but then thought, what if I spent 17k on one and it blew up….. I’d be super bummed.
More than that unfortunately
Couldn’t agree more!
175 turbo only sled to go with in mountains
The chrome blue is fierce!
Favorite videos are the exploration ones of going to new places especially in the alpine
You and Dallas need to do a head to head n/a video
love the garage segment, please post more garage content now that you have the full shop in revi.
P.S just received my summit hoodie my wife ordered for Christmas, No poo poo hoodies?
love the content, keep it up matt
I've noticed online that the people having issues with cats all have the blue one's, I've got a green and no issues so far.
It really seems like that. I have only seen the mountain cats with issues as well, IE blown motors and whatnot.
@@jacobboswell9325Mcats were built first after international sleds. ZR RXC package was last from my knowledge
Great video! I'll continue to live vicariously through you Matt.
11:30 please be careful for tree wells especially when you went the opposite direction of your buddies. Stay safe
Doug was a good sport about it 😂 100% swearing at you the next morning ha
On-x is a must! Cpl weeks ago in Yellowstone we had a storm sneak in on us at 4pm and I’m not sure if we woulda got off the mountain that evening without it. Couple ridges we had to cross visibility was like 100 feet or less at times. Sketchy!
Get a good set of carbide “Left” handed drill bits!! Awesome for any type of broke off bolt….
Definitely looks sick,an getting the old crew back, jason is a good fit for the muskoka crew!maybe turbo the 😺 lol
Beautiful terrain❄️☀️❄️thanks…
I like it all! Anything and everything I find entertaining. I was surprised how much I liked the catalyst platform when I tried it, ill give them a couple years to sort things out and put on some positive pressure before I switch back. If they make it that far…..
It’s fun to watch anything you ride but a NA maybe more because the 175 makes things so easy it’s nice to see your skill used to make it far as possible without turbo lol
10:19 conditions! Gotta do what’s fun for you man.
Wrap looks awesome!!!
Your wrap looks insane on the cat... Very good choice and nice work 😊
I like seeing all 3 sleds. The 175 is a beast though!!! 💯👍
2:20 oh the pain to be taking a customer out on his new sled only for it too blow up with less than 100 miles on her. Feel bad for the dealer he must have felt terrible haha
10:05 answer: YES
Sure hope you're right about CF Moto. (or SOMEBODY) I'm old and too fat to ride anymore but I always loved my kitty cats. Sadly, bombie sold doo, Doo is now owned by a company in the states.
Ski doo would have been gone many years ago,the government keeps bailing them out, not deep pockets.
I'm just glad I don't have to listen to that 9R anymore! Turbos are listening pleasure but the 858 is ok also
Avi ll and practice all the time is also worthless if you ride with people that are not practicing too! Two brother in a slide in utah( with dad) one brother buried and other brother dug him out, saved his life. Always good to see you guys practicing.
Don't eat the yellow😂 9:42
Some pure Québec french at 19:35. Love seing the cat.
LOL, some yellow snow at 9:41
Really any video you’re pumped on is a good video. You can tell when you’re day is better than others
175 mod sled!! Love it. Amazing where you can go on that sled.
I’ve seen a lots of problems about the c-tec cats and since they aren’t mechanically oil injected or however it works but instead they have a little electric motor, you should put around 200 milliliters of oil in with the fuel it seems to work and run way better.
