Some of the engines are missing the glow plugs. If the crashed engine has been sitting a while it is probably just gummed up cleaning should fix it. I would be interested in what you want to sell

The RC engines and old wooden props brought back many good memories ! Even back in the day this stuff was expensive and overall an expensive hobby . I had 5 planes that I flew and maintained so trust me , I knew .
Model RC airplanes were a huge hobby of mine 20 years ago. The engines are pretty decent. The O.S engines had several models, some with bushings and some with bearings. Let them soak with good through the glow plug hole ("spark plug" ) and the carb hole with liquid wrench, let them set for a day or so, then do tiny movements until they free up. Cool find. I still have all that stuff you picked up, the Monocoat Iron is certainly a good find, they don't cost alot but hey $ is a $

I use the hat washing thingies, all the time! If there’s a chance that the colors will bleed, I use it in a front loading washing machine, on gentle cycle, so I have access to cold water. Just has to be a front loading washing machine. If I use the washing machine, I can also use a detergent that has no fragrance, because I’ve had a return once, due to fragrance from the detergent.

I do the same thing and hunt for different things that are interesting to me and that I think other people would be interested in. That way I build up the things that I like to collect and I can learn about things that I didn’t really know much about. I picked up a 8” 25th anniversary plate for an Avon rep today for $1 at a thrift store and it turned out to be made by Tiffany & co and it’s selling for $300+! But I collect everything that’s gold and silver…

Hey RC pilot here. To be able to test those engines you will need a glow plug, glow ignitor, and a chicken stick at minimum. You will have to also mount them to a board to be sure not to injure yourself when testing them. If you have any questions I'd be happy to help! Love your channel!🙂

The black wrenches are cool but they are called Combination Wrenches. Love the Stubbie combination wrenches. This is because of the box and open ends. USAF Mech. Ret.
Clean the filter in your washer first. Food can transfer, but you can put that in the laundry washer too, in theory at least. Love the snowmen. I hate turning down the lemonade, but I don't like lemons lol. I don't pass on baked goods no matter what LOL I'd be so bored if I did one thing, and if the sales drop then you wouldn't have anything.
You guys are so cute! You have such great morals and a great outlook on life. I wish there were more people like you in this world. I'll catch you on the next one, lol.❤
I can't believe what you picked up the airplane stuff for!! One of those tuned pipes, especially the new in box one, is worth what you paid for the whole lot!

DON’T put gas in those two stroke R/C engines. You’ll also need a glow plug heater (battery). I hope there is a battery powered cone starter in the box of parts. Getting an untuned or, worse, an engine that was put away “wet” as the fuel will turn to shellac and will need some TLC. It used to be a major hobby of mine. I still have three planes on the wall in the garage just because they remind me how much fun they were to build, crash and build again.
I wash ball caps in the clothes washer loose and they come out fine. If it's a higher end hat, I put it in a mesh bag for delicates. Then I dry them on the hat shaper.
I bought a box of R/C car stuff for $40 once, had 4 engines, a chassis with suspension, 2 sets of tires and all kinds of pieces and parts. Sold it all for $325 which was still a great deal for that buyer.
I love picking up items that I don’t have much history or knowledge with. Learning is a part of selling and building a business. After a while you get to know a little bit about everything. I get it when people stay in a niche field, but I’d rather sell anything that makes a profit. It makes garage sales way more interesting.
Dang. You absolutely stole those motors. Most RC airplanes are running electric now. Those took me right back to my childhood. Some of those motors was 300+ new. All the guys in my family used to fly together. Good memories… Very expensive hobby. Heartbreaking when you’d crash.
My dad bought radios, cameras, phones and clocks. He always went by weight. If it's heavy he buys it. Mom always gave him hell. But he was always right and made money on everything he bought to resell.
If those engines run on nitro methane, it's possible that the one is frozen because the fuel has varnished. Easy to unstick using brake cleaner or fresh fuel.
