You know dudes & dudettes this is one of my favorite movies I ever seen and it shows that in that time mankind is the invaders but the kind of invaders who are struggling for survival knowing Mars and Mercury had been terraform but the governors in three worlds demanded independences which had lead to war and not to mention from how great there weapons are three worlds had paid the ultimate price but before all that they have build the Ark Ship that the remains of mankind had spend a few generations looking for a new home world to call home and that is when they found Planet Terra but mankind didn't expect there be navtive life on the planet and that the Terraians thought they are peaceful race but they won't hesitate to go into battle which had lead both sides to go into battle for Planet Terra and it was sad at the moment for mankind to watch the end to come to them but it was until the Terraians had offered mankind to stay with them to make a fresh new start for the new future for mankind and there kids for everyone to have a future now this movie was so awesome in any other way don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆
@@royalkittycat2774 Yeah I totally know that and from what is going on with Ukraine these days along with China and Russia I really hope there isn't going to be a world war 3 because that is totally the last thing this world needs another world war knowing that would be the end of everyone I just there is a better solution and better ways for them to agree on because every last dudes & dudettes are trying really for a the best for the little ones to grow up in for them and others to have a good future now that is totally one thing for sure on that.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆
This is a fun theory but I think putting humans inside a giant dome (with no point defense weaponry) also serves a contingent plan. Humans are allowed to co-exist with the native inhabitants but if they decide to do something "funny", I wouldn't be surprised if the Terrans would just bombard the dome to bits
That doesnt add up as the humans still have all their fighters and the alians have chosen a peaceful way, the dome is simply needed to create a seperate environment for oxygen and is of couse see through to let in light, also the humans havent got anything they can try anymore anyway as they lost their terroforming machine
The Therians have a different mentality. Such genocide makes no sense to them. They learned lessons from their era of intolerance. Besides, after two generations both species will finally stop seeing each other as strangers - then there will be no need for conflict. Not everyone and not always proceeds from the idea that "We must kill them all."

There is a strong likelihood that they have Earth plant genetic material for large scale breeding, considering the robot stated earlier that Humans spend millennials drifting in empty space after the war. It doesn't seem like the humans are desperate enough to resort to cannibalism in the film
It is unlikely that the ark will be restored - it was in such a state of disrepair that it would be easier to build a new one. But regarding technology - you are right, mankind are more developed at least because they were able to cross this monstrous distance. These technologies, if used correctly, could give a lot to both civilizations. What is also important - in two generations, both races will stop seeing each other as aliens, which will eliminate the basis for conflict.

I think it's neat that Terraian atmosphere has similar pressure to earth allowing for single gate airlocks that can be flown through.
It is a double airlock, though.
