I’ve seen several Rivian’s out on my daily commute. The pickup is definitely a head turner for automotive fans. It actually looks familiar while the Cybertruck at best looks like a Fast & Furious sedan ‘hero car.’ Also of note, while Elon has been off twittering, mucking about this Russo-Ukraine spat, playing state department, and generally being Elon~tistic the Rivian is on the roads and we presume the cyber truck is still waiting for window repairs

I love this truck
You missed the drain in the frunk, you can use either the front or back of the truck as a cooler. You also missed the storage under the rear seats, this thing is a storage box on wheels. Best adventure/camping EV out there. It will be interesting to see how Tesla’s Cybertruck measure’s up.
I didn't see any charging systems in the back 40. A sea can makes a better storage locker. 🤷♂️
@@freedomruss Much easier to build a charging system in the back 40 than to operate Gas Station. Also temporary Charging Stations can be setup for popular designations. Even a Trailer with 80kWh battery and fold out 3 Parking Spaces area of Solar PV + 10kW VAWT. Could charge this to max in 1 day, then indefinitely for the whole time you are out there. Who'd a thunk EV charging is Easier in the middle of no where. In AUS it's much more difficult and risky to Get FUEL.
@@Neojhun my neighbour charges his electric car with a solar array. So far he into it for the cost of the car, the panels, batteries and inverters and charge controls. After 2 years the whole system just had a major failure that the electrician is still trying to figure out a week later. He's running his freezer and fridge with a Honda 2000i and burning candles and kerosene for lighting. His electric car is a fancy lawn ornament. 🤷♂️

Definitely would be handy for tailgating the one thing I would say that I liked but did like is the bed setup. I like how the spare is where it’s easier to get to and also use it for beer cooler. What I didn’t like is there’s not a way to get spare from the bottom also if your truck bed is loaded gonna be job just to unload just to get the spare. And obviously this lady has a kidnapping fetish pretty sure she wouldn’t have a hard time for her victims to go with her 😂😂

Very cool ideas on that vehicle. But the more bells and whistles the more that can go wrong. One very important thing is that I saw NO way to enter the vehicle without electricity. There should be a manual way to enter without the electrics. With a dead or shorted battery there should still be a way to enter.

Rivians are expensive too though. It's also over 100k and I'd still rather go with Hummer EV.
