- On today's episode of restorations with Vick, he will be bringing back these Air Jordan 1 "Bred-Toe" Sneakers. Arriving in stores back in February 2018, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Bred Toe’ was a new spin on a classic design. The Chicago Bulls-inspired colorway combines elements of the ‘Bred’ and ‘Black Toe’ editions of the Air Jordan 1, executed on a premium leather build. The high-top features a black Swoosh on the white quarter panel, along with contrasting pops of red on the toe box, heel, collar, and outsole. The shoe stays true to its OG 1985 roots with Nike Air branding on the tongue tag and sock liner. What are your thoughts on this shoe? To start off this restoration, Vick begins cleaning the entire shoe with Reshoevn8r's 3-Brush 4oz kit. Afterwards he uses the shoe tree to remove the creasing. Getting the results he wants, he then moves onto removing the yellowing on the sole using his indoor setup. Moving onto the next step Vick sands down the uppers. Vick finally then repaints the shoe. Jonathan Rider For sole, use heavy brush to clean all the dirt of the bottom of the shoe, also gets in the waffle shit. For midsole use a rag with bleach to get white, the checkers need the same treatment but use a brush not a rag and it should be fine

Vick! Guys need to give us a good brush made just for the insides. My main focus alot of time is the insides and sock liner.

No gloves is totally fine. I detail cars and do not wear gloves, unless I’m dressing the tires. Yes gloves protect dirt from getting under fingernails but I’m a Detailer and I’ll just detail my hands. It’s more work but I don’t mind working hard. Plus latex gloves take away any feeling hahaha
