Hi Lili, I'm not able to add the text but hope this helps: If you follow the musical figure in the accompaniment that repeats, it repeats eight times and then you come in on the ninth repeat. If you're familiar with musical terminology, it's in 4/4 and has a two measure introduction. If not, the di-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum is the musical figure that repeats 8X... then sing. At the end of the first verse, you have the same musical figure for two measures (or eight of the di-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum) that leads you into the second verse.

I was hoping that woukd be the case as trying to explain the repeat of the intro going into the second verse is just slightly complicated by the fact that the end of verse one ends on the downbeat of the beginning of the repeat. So once you finish Ma-ri-a at the end of verse one... The final AH is on the first of eight Di-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum so you actually sing Ma-ri-AH-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum, two-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum, three-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum four-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum, one-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum, two-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum, three-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum four-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum. SING.... It's in Bb. All the best. Glad you worked it out and are enjoying singing it. There are plenty of great singers who have little musical training. It just takes hard work and practice. I have a professional teacher now who teaches me how to sing. He did tell me I learn fast and my voice is better than some of his classmates who learn music at Peabody Institute. what key is this in. need to sing it for my moms church service today and looking for ave maria in the key of a flat
