Your Aphelios plays always leave me envious, haha. What's your opinion on the builds? You play two very different builds with the Kraken into Galeforce into full Lifesteal in game one, then Stormrazor into IE game two. When is either of them optimal, or is it just preference? Also what's your stance on Lord Doms as well? I always find myself building it every game for one reason or another, but you didn't even when full build and level 18 in the first game.
Generally speaking, Kraken first is still the undisputed best first item for me in 95% of games, followed up by IE unless you really need the mobility from Galeforce to gapclose into lots of ranged champs or to dodge/space against heavy engage (think Nautilus R, Zac, Rell). I usually tend to run Ghost into those sort of comps though since it makes up for the lack of mobility of IE builds in order to go for the highest damage potential possible. After that it's pretty much comp dependant, though i usually tend to go for Shieldbow or LDR third, occassionally even 2nd before IE/GF. I mostly don't touch BT until 4th/5th item since usually by the time i complete my 3rd item I'm still around lvl 11-14 depending on how ahead I am. 5th slot's for BT mostly if you don't have it by then, otherwise you might wanna look for Hydra, GA or even Zeal items, but I haven't touched Zeal items all that much since their reworks/nerfs because raw AD has been feeling way better on Aphelios and he's getting a lot of AtkSpd from his passive inherently already anyway. The games in the video were odd exceptions. I've only been trying Stormrazor a couple times in place of Kraken into super super squishy and ranged teams when I'm already looking to snowball, but even then the merit is really not that much greater. As for the full lifesteal game i kinda just went for big numbers for the lulz lmao, LDR in place of Shieldbow or Hydra would've been a better build probably.
Can you make this videos longer? Like, show more of the laning phase and not just skirmishes. I dont mean that you should put super boring parts where nothing is happening, but you kinda just crammed 3 games into an 8 minute video
MAN i really like ur videos and ye less edited format is the way to go for me cus i learn so much more but man this is like my 4th comment on asking u to pleasseeeeeeeeeeee tell us or make a video about the infernum and calibrum rotation and how to order weapons or a guide video. and u dont have lots of comments so i know u saw it plsssssssssss i really like to know the blue green rotation and thank u
Honestly, it's hard to find someone not playing Red/Purple now. It likely has to do with Red being awful atm. With the healing greatly reduced, Blue/Red is much worse, and it was already considered the most 'Meh' combo in Aph's kit. Combo it with Purple slow nerfs and now it's seems more optimal to partner the two least synergetic weapons with each other just to get them out of the way for your other 4 rotations. You just hope to god that the only thing you fight with those weapons are immobile tanks and bruisers that can be kited with the slows. Green/Blue also just feels good. It's a little clunky in the fact Blue is the weapon you want to use, but Green is the one you want to deplete first, but the burst damage is very deceptive as both Green Marks and Blue autos deal bonus damage.
