This song and this album literally gave us directioners a revolution. We got brilliant music ( I'm a huge rock music fan), we got two banging song writers in Louis and Liam, we got to see One Direction actually get onto the music scene with brilliant vocals and different genres. They haven't still gotten their due. They are still so darn underrated. Thank you for always realising their potential ❤️

This album as a whole changed the game for One direction in terms of creative direction. They left the typical boyband sound and shifted their whole sound with this album. If I’m correct/remember it well, Louis fought with management for them to be able to write on the album. And some of the best songs on this album are written/co-written by Louis

Do you find yourself trying to sneak 1D onto your friends? It’s become such a thing for me to trick my friends into listening to these guys because we would have never before. Never would we have listened to a “boy band”. It just goes to show that it’s important to keep an open mind in all areas of life.

You're so on point in everything you said, I was a fan of One Direction since the first album because I was a 12 year old girl back then, I grew up with them and with the influences of my mom who introduced me to rock and my older cousins that introduced me to pop punk. Midnight Memories era really was the change point of One Direction for me and it's my favorite album still, their influences, everything is so on point! It was also when I had the chance to go to my first live concert so I have the best memories!

I agree with everything you said Steven - I think people forget that those first pre-fabricated albums that 1D released was when they were like 16-18...it took a minute to be able to produce their own music and it was certainly worth the wait. I love these guys - also their solo stuff. I hope they do reunite at some stage because it would be awesome to see what they can produce together now that they're older and can be themselves.

Unfortunately, I slept through the One Direction era. I didn't pay much attention to them, I think I considered myself too old for them... 🤷♀️ Boy, was I wrong! 🤦♀️ Discovered them during quarantine, entered the rabbit hole - and I love them, their music, the fandom, everything, sooo much! And I think they are such an underrated and misunderstood band! ❤️
