9:00 i love when youtubers forget to cut their previous takes edit: YOU COULD TRY TO COVER UP YOUR MISTAKES TMV, BUT YOU COULD NEVER MAKE US FORGET. I WILL NOT BE SILENCED.
Honestly surprised both tmv AND the community didnt vote for mixwell more, like i get why but I just think his impact on the culture of Spanish speaking valorant is so much larger than we see
Redgar❤ gmb was the first team I rooted for, as I started watching pro val (and you) during their run in Berlin. And you're right, that team had an air of magic about them, that you don't really see since.
Just 2 things I'd like to point out:- 1. Benkai was with GE for the whole 2024 season and when I last checked I don't think he's retired (I may be wrong pls correct me if I am). So just like ardiis 2:26 Benkai rn should not be eligible for this list. (I am not saying he's not worthy he definitely is it's just that he doesn't meet the criteria you setup yourself). 2. Chet should be included as he too had a really good season in 2022-23. For anyone saying about the 2024 season then BZKA was with mibr in 2023-24 and yes that was a really bad team compared to Chet's but still if Laz is considered for not having any international trophies then Chet should be in the nominees as well. Apart from that from the final 6 I completely agree with you every player here deserves to be in the Valorant's Hall of Fame.
Personally I think u should take a book out of MLBs playbook and gather around your Val influencers that yk who each get to vote for a set number of possible players coaches (I would also add announcers) and if over 75 percent vote for a person they get it in if not they don’t. That way it’s not just straight 6 people no matter what every year allowing for potentially the year that one retires to play an important factor
I was thinking the exact same HoF but didn’t think you’d actually put Shahz in. Glad you did though cause as controversial as he can be, he was the early face of Val and has massive success. I love this video idea and hopefully the community picks it up as an ongoing thing
i think bonecold deserves a spot more than shahzam on the hall of fame, strats really didnt matter back in reykjavik 2021, so even if he had no coach to help him out, it wouldnt have mattered because tenz would have ran it down and killed everyone. as for bonecold, he beat GMB at a time where everyone thought they would be the first team to win two tournaments back to back, 2 years earlier than FNC.
consiudering the relative newness of the game still and the way hofs typically work I think 3 in total coaches or players would make mroe sense and make getting in that much more special
I mean sure Shahz lead the team without a coach but honestly they had barely any set strats cuz they didn't need them. They were simply outskilling the others. I would rather put Sick in there or even Zombs
I think the ability to lead/coach a team and allow each of the 5 players to excel is what an talented coach/IGL should do, coaching isn't all about strats and in my opinion what is more important is the ability to allow the players to outskill the opponents/ just frag out. Its what most "superteams" lack is the ability to get everyone on the same page while still being able to play their own individual games.
Either you weren't there for the beginning of Val or your memories are being clouded from how annoying shaz is today. Go back and listen to old plat chat episodes, or the interview they had with him. He was consensus top 5 highest impact players for that entire sentinels era.
I was a 2021 Sen fan, watched their run live, and I agree with you. I think it's a bit of a "putting modern standards on old games" moment. The run wasn't some crazy IGL+coaching feat like it would have to be today. I mean they literally had a philosophy where they never took any timeouts. Ignoring the character of the players, Zombs clutch power was wayyy more valuable to how the game was played at that time
I'm not a fan of the Shahzam persona, but he might have been the single most impactful player in early Valorant, since he called, coached, while sometimes playing jett and fragging out. There was an Ace he got with a single Jett Kunai that will just stick in my mind
Wasnt Scream seen trialing for TL lately? I know he technically fits the criteria but seems weird to nominate a guy who is looking to get back into a team
Oh. That ruling makes so much more sense. In your community post, I wasn't reading it as, to qualify, you need to be retired. I was reading it as they're not on the list because these people should be made to retire.
I agree with Laz, TenZ, and Sacy. Laz, especially, since I am one of the believers of Japanese Valorant. If impact outside of the game is something to consider, Laz is the Japanese equivalent of TenZ in that regard.
Not putting Mixwell in is such a slap in the face for the spanish-speaking community. His literal nickname is “padre” which means father within said community lol By the same standards your putting Laz in, Mixwell needs to be in as well.
I think TenZ definitely deserves to be in the HOF-there is no doubt about it. I just think it's a bit too early. He literally just retired three months ago. And, although it is not very likely, there is a decent chance that he could come back next year. Again, he should definitely be in the HOF. I just think it should be next year after he's been retired for a full year.
Shaz deserves that spot for no reason other than the map win streak sentinels had at the time it’s rare for a team to win back to back maps for the time they did let alone series that team led by shaz pushed all other teams to get better they were the best and one of the only teams besides fanatic to have talk of a dynasty of course no team has yet achieved one
People are sleeping on Hiko. 30+ yrs old player having the best clutch rate of that time, A REAL CLUTCH GOD. Also isn't Shroud eligible, as per the criteria too?
Yo so even though tenz, sacy, and others finished out last season, they are still allowed to be nominated? Doesn't that contradict what you said at the beginning?
nah mixwell should have gotten in instead of redgar or shaz. not only he's a big influence for valo in that region I don't think any other person supports or promotes the game changers as much as he does. well hope mixwell gets next year.
hey thats nice BUT HOW DO WE MISS CHRONICLE AND ASPAS ON THIS LIST? Chronicle is the most winningest player this game has seen yet, and Aspas... he's Aspas.
production value of this video is insane
ly low
fr tmv really pulled out all the stops on this one
Half a second into the video and I am hooked
lol
Read this comment before the video loaded and did not think it was sarcastic. And then the ms paint popped up.💀
TMV has a higher budget than netflix at this point

wdym?
Yeah wdym?

huh?
i think he edited it out after this comment went up
When chronicle retires(hopefully not soon) he will 100% be in the hall of fame as the most decorated valorant pro
just wait until westjett findsout u put shahzam in the hall of fame
gg
the "he knows" side of valorant
thought id have to look harder for a comment like this lol
the upsetti spaghetti side of valorant
i hope westjett is found to be a kiddy diddler or smth. he has that vibe

Benkai i agree but chet isnt retired just banned
@gyd1714 bzka isn't retired as well just left MIBR (according to liquidipedia)
Isn't chet back to being CS coach after that ban?
It's definitely not about the 2024 season exclusively, seeing as Shahzam made the list and he's been washed for decades lol.
@@9sleb34 He's looking for both options, Val and CS.
another masterclass production from olimar valorant

I agree with all of these, but I think seeing d3ffo would have been good. He was a raidboss on Jett
The spy kids reference about Tenz being "the guy" was peak
No marved is crazy iceman was so dominant into 2022
not officially retired i think just teamless atm
wow, incredible production

Bro the intro had me chuckling so hard
consiudering the relative newness of the game still and the way hofs typically work I think 3 in total coaches or players would make mroe sense and make getting in that much more special
I thought i sccidentally clicked on Paul's Hardware's weekly news episode thanks to that intro song bruh
I mean sure Shahz lead the team without a coach but honestly they had barely any set strats cuz they didn't need them. They were simply outskilling the others.

Scream snuffed
Shazam will always be the first IGL masters champion!! Quit hating you clown!! No set Strats? So they just beat a well coached team in FNatic? 😂
I was a 2021 Sen fan, watched their run live, and I agree with you.

I am making my debut this year, as the next Leo. I am the best valorant player.
The intro gives me netflix live-action budget vibes
This is the quality content I have this name for
the moment bro forgot forsaken, i was done
I actually 100% agree with yours with Benkai being an honorable mention / potential for the next group
Sad that L1nk didn’t get a mention dude was so underrated
That was the intro of all time
Wasnt Scream seen trialing for TL lately? I know he technically fits the criteria but seems weird to nominate a guy who is looking to get back into a team
Dont think so, he was just at the team liquid facility to reunite with some of the people he used to play with and make some content
absolute cinema music choice
Woah what program did you use to make that amazing intro????
Oh. That ruling makes so much more sense.
In your community post, I wasn't reading it as, to qualify, you need to be retired. I was reading it as they're not on the list because these people should be made to retire.
Twisten:(
Known for popularising shorty, sadly passed away
Tacolilla from the og lev roster, I mean he's not top 5 but was good enough for a mention
he is not retired
Production value goes crazy
I thought those who lasted on a team last year couldnt be nominated. Sacy and Tenz lasted the whole season last year.
I agree with Laz, TenZ, and Sacy. Laz, especially, since I am one of the believers of Japanese Valorant. If impact outside of the game is something to consider, Laz is the Japanese equivalent of TenZ in that regard.
This was my exact ballot lmao
W Shahz. I really thought Mixwell was gonna be in for sure but W inductees. But maybe make this class bigger than normal since it’s the first one!
Not putting Mixwell in is such a slap in the face for the spanish-speaking community. His literal nickname is “padre” which means father within said community lol

Sick was such a versatile player, its Valorant's loss that he couldn't play more.

I think xeta should have been nominated as well

Literally picked these 6 on mine soooo BASED ig
honoring Shazam is such a big W. Guy made it through without support and was wonderful.
Glad he added SicK
ìs dapr the only player from sentinels reykjavik still playing?
I haven't checked but I remember seeing him play this summer so prob?
TMV beats Riot Production with this one

ohhh sliggy's not gonna like this one lmaooo
some bums were finalists
who is Laz
nah mixwell should have gotten in instead of redgar or shaz. not only he's a big influence for valo in that region I don't think any other person supports or promotes the game changers as much as he does.
well hope mixwell gets next year.
he deffo will get in next year no doubt. FNS will probably retire after this season too so im gonna have mixwell and fns in the hall of fame.
Over Shaz a Masters champion? 😂😂😂😂😂
Missed potter in the hof smh
potter is still coaching tho
@ you right I’m an idiot, mini is still an assistant coach tho right? Why was he in the running then
Does players like Twisten or DaveeyS count?
can we get sean "seangares" gares as a nominee next year??
I could be wrong but didn't sacy and tenz play for sen the whole of the 2024 season? (I don't know if off-season counts)
Westjett not gonna be happy with thge ShaZam pick
Sinatra ?
Am I dumb? Sacy did finish the season with SEN no? Shoudln´t he be disqualified? The same with TenZ no? And mini did finish with FNC too
I think the idea of this video was created AFTER both players announced their retirement
Aspas is the face of valorant.
i was ok with everyone but Shahzam and Redgar not so much but i can see why tmv chose these 2
How is Tenz included when he finished last season with sen but ardiis is not?
One retired, the other is a walking question mark regarding his next year.
hey thats nice BUT HOW DO WE MISS CHRONICLE AND ASPAS ON THIS LIST? Chronicle is the most winningest player this game has seen yet, and Aspas... he's Aspas.
They arent retired and he said he would only put retired players on the list
Wait... didnt Benkai finish with Global last season??
No Hiko list invalid
