Well no his cars are too expensive to be killed by Chinese competition. If he was in the market for the cheapest electric cars. Then yes he would have no future. But Tesla is more like BMW. Where people buy it for the cool brand.

But his crown Gem will be the nueral link. It will put him in a different stratosphere from everyone else if it does what he claims it will do. Plus China is in a economic war that will bring it to its knees in the not too far future. They tried and came very close but they are sinking.
