unique ending. most action movies they end it with killing every bad guy and all the bosses. but theres always consequences, even in this one, but this one seems more smarter and using compensation to get rid of their pursuers instead of pure vengeance.

Poor Mei. Although this movie ended positively, she was robbed of her original life where she lived at the beginning.
I watched this movie and loved it, I was happy that they found each other until I read this comment, lol true. But her mother was sick and she had nobody else so she was probably going to be put in foster care
@@minenhlemaphanga9548 Yeah I guess Mei would have ended up being put in foster care if she didn't get abducted, so at the end of this movie it was better that she was with Luke, the person who saved her and someone that she already made a bond with. What I mean by my comment is that it was unfortunate that Mei leaving behind her original life was so sudden. She didn't get the opportunity to be in Nanjing for one more day knowing that it was going to be the last day she would be living there. She will probably miss the location and her friends there for this reason, especially since Seattle is in an entirely different continent. It's not too much of a problem since Mei can always go on a vacation to Nanjing in the future, and she is very young in this movie so she will probably make many fond memories in Seattle.
