The martini henry USED to be satisfying. The nerf ruined it
The Martini Henry is still one of the best guns in the game, if you don't mind switching to pistol every once in awhile. Or, god forbid, spotting your targets so you can get 'counts as kill' assists.

When I worked at McDonald's, we would only say the ice cream machine was broken during overnights because it was in heat mode, which heats the ice cream mix up to a liquid state. You can't say that because dumbasses will think you're lying, which happens whether or not you tell the customer about heat mode. The ice cream machine is also the machine most prone to breaking because it either gets stuck in heat mode or the cooling mechanisms fail, leading to sludge-like ice cream. That's because people want fake ice cream at six in the morning. Oh yeah, it doesn't even have milk in it; the main ingredients are high fructose corn syrup and soy (I read the ingredient labels on the box it comes in, same reason why they can't call their shakes "milkshakes").

Jack is a beast I’ve played a map with him once not knowing who he was till I found out and he absolutely murdered me and my whole team he’s crazy good.

After having played bf5 so much lately I really miss this sniping.
As of today I hit 200 Martini Henry kills. Even this far in, every time I think I’ve learned the gun it trips me up. It’s slowly getting super satisfying to use now, I’m yet to reach the Jackfrags god tier tho.

Martini sniper is an okay gun, not that good with it...I recommend the 5x magnification and the cross or chevron sight.

It's not OP anymore the new Russian Mosin Nagant has a similar sweet spot (infantry version ) so does the S.M.I.L.E both are faster reloading aswell .
jdc527 Gaming I can't get the hang of it atall much rather the non scoped martini.
don't not worth grinding for it's the same gun just with a scope and that scope gets you killed because you aren't sniping with it for one shots kills.
Thank you for showing the stopping power of the lebel, I switched from the m.95 to the lebel infantry and never looked back, such an underrated sniper

Do you play on PC? It's generally quicker on PC than console.
High fov makes it look like your running faster
Adjust your gameplay settings, im on xbox and it almost runs the same way it does on pc.
SlayerC6 bf1 on Xbox one does NOT run the same as he is running it on here. He’s running it with all graphics maxed out while running at 60+ FPS.
I’ve played it on both and on Xbox it definitely isn’t as smooth as pc. That would be insane to say.

Martini Henry is still a great gun, even after the nerf. I'm nowhere near as good as Jack, but every time I use the Martini Henry I absolutely take over matches.

Got the game working very recently (very late) and the 5-ish day grind for this weapon (infantry, not sniper) has been tedious af. But even with the nerf that I was not to witness, I find it seriously good. Not sure about you guys but the muzzle velocity really works for me, I always aim so far ahead and now it actually hits. Love this gun, already my favourite and I’ve literally only had it for an hour when typing this
