These really are stunning for the money. Got mine in 'natural' finish a few days ago and it puts a smile on my face every time I pick it up. Am very tempted to get one in black also, as I think that finish is beautiful.
This is late but Instead of buying a second, I believe these would be great guitars to mod the hell out of. Cheap enough to rip out the electronics pickups pots and go crazy. Just my opinion. A year later these are still attractive at 369 us
Nice review. I received mine about the same time you got yours and I got the same color (black). Agree with you totally that the quality & style are great with this guitar for the price. My first headless guitar as well and find it is taking a little getting used to when I am not watching my hand positions on the fret board. Been enjoying it and my son is thinking about buying a Strandberg so this will give him the feel of a headless guitar (maybe even re-thinking spending over $2K+ more). I happen to see a review of this guitar on TH-cam and finding out the price kept gnawing at me until I decided to make the purchase. The electronics are nice and neat come equipped with 500K pots - another nice surprise. I have few "pricier" guitars and thought to try out the budget market with a Harley Benton SC450 P90 GT (copy of a Gibson LP) and was amazed at the quality for $189 USD (with shipping). Only flaw was the toggle switch which I replaced. The pots are small on it and could be replaced, but just as with this guitar, great guitar for price. Rock on & be safe!

Just got the black one and I'm happy. Came in a clamshell of styrofoam and was very well protected. Love the bridge. Restrung with 9's stretched the strings and it stayed in tune like a champ. The only issue was a slight buzz on the low E. The frets are perfect. Pickups are not really that bad at all. I paid $369 and would definitely buy it again. Never played headless before and it doesn't seem weird at all. Very light. No neck diving. Comfortable to play.
@@flailhead love it so much I yanked the EMG zakk Wylde set out of my Jackson and installed them on the eart. Cleaned the fretboard which was dirtier than it looked. Oiled it up restrung with 8-38 set. It plays like butter and sounds fantastic. I was worried the light gauge strings would sound bad but it really sounds good. Replaced the knobs with ones without arrows. Also put black cap on the three way switch .
@@flailhead forgot to mention the pads under the factory pickups, I had to split the pad in half lengthwise and place the pieces on the bottom of the EMG on both sides of the quick disconnect. You may have to adjust the foam piece to get the height you need as the screws don't adjust the height correctly. The pickups are secure and look correct. I'm still loving my eart. Play so much now finally getting callous on my pinky.
Great guitars. But with black knobs and black bridge, they should've put black pickup covers or naked ones with black tops. I just built one like it. Same hardware. I put a sun burst on flame maple veneer.
I have the same guitar same color. It's really great! I ordered the purple but they sent me the black. The only real problem I'm having is the bridge pickup. The cover on that pickup is causing some squealing. The tape they stick between the pickup and the cover to keep the cover from vibrating isn't doing the job. Otherwise I absolutely love it. I bought the purple one last week. Excellent overall quality. Fretwork is immaculate. Only issues I had were the bridge pickup squealing on high gain, the top nut needed filing down slightly on the D string as it was vibrating slightly on the zero fret and some tooling marks going through the black finish on one of the saddles. I’ve swapped out their pickups for Seymour Duncan humbuckers. It sounds great now. The stock pickups I took out are trying to look like Gibsons as they have a label on the bottom saying 57 + Classic Wound by PS.
Glad you got there in the end! The purple one looks amazing. Yes I was super impressed by the fretwork also. Out of curiosity did you change any of the electronics? Or just the pickups.
@@flailhead Yep, I’m really impressed. Just need to raise the height of the bridge humbucker as it’s a bit low as I’ve screwed it direct to the body. Just loses a bit of sustain at the moment. I have the Explorer which is the same guitar same neck and everything but with a headstock and I have to admit this is the best neck I have ever played I have nothing else to compare to this. The guitar play itself only thing I have change is the string to 42/09
I really like mine and your review as well. My only query is concerning the frets. They are very well done but I don't think that they are stainless steel. My Parker has stainless steel frets and the Eart feels nothing like it. I also did the magnet test and the Eart does not attract the magnet at all. They are well done though.

Just the pup's at the moment, the pots seem OK maybe just a little stiff. The three way switch seems fine.

The strandberg body design is under a creative commons license. The endure neck is patented.
I would love to see Harley Benton do a strandberg copy.
