It is rather the center of the city. The old city is Dahar with the souk, fruit and vegetable market, animal market. There is also a beautiful Coptic cathedral.

I like this vlog Of yours Joey, it's cinematic , honest and shows what the real Egypt is. No pretension, so real. Egypt looks even poorer than most areas in the Philippines. What I like about the country is they have culturally preserved places as against the cities in manila and around the Philippines that are too modern for comfort. This is a very intelligent vlog, you have real content so very informative! Unlike your friend who keeps making nonsense comments and disturbs the real content of your vlog.

It's only a 5-hour flight from Germany and, next to Turkey and Morocco, it's the cheapest holiday destination for germans. There's also still a terrible war going on in Israel (Egypt's neighbour). Maybe Egypt won't be able to be visited soon. Who knows. And I already knew it and know how nice the swimming is there.
