Wow oh what an amazingly beautiful garden, I can tell it was created with dedication and so much love. Hopefully one dau my garden would look even half as beautiful as yours.
Oh how I would love my morning coffee In your little slice of paradise. Not to mention a cheeky cocktail as the sun goes down with all the twinkly lights. Such attention to detail, so colourful, inviting, lush, tranquil, inspiring & of course…the WOW factor in abundance!!!
My favourite garden, Hannah. So beautiful with a vast range of plants and fun accessories. I can imagine sitting there in the summer evening, sipping an exotic cocktail ❤
Hi Hannah, the garden is looking as lovely as ever and I love how the banana leaves sway in the breeze. Did you get another Flamingo? I never noticed the one close to the bar. And now I have a tale to tell. Last year I planted snow peas in a pot on my balcony. September came with a heat wave and the plants died. This year I tried again, in two pots, with 2 varieties. Two plants geminated in the small pot and grew like crazy - twice as fast as the other, larger pot with more plants. Then heat wave came in June and the 2 in the small pot began to yellow close to the dirt. The other pot was more shaded and continued to thrive. But though the bottom half was yellow, the top half of the two plants was a vibrant green and kept growing fast. The vines at the top were twice as thick as down below. I was told the yellowing meant they would not flower, but I kept watering them just to watch them grow. At 4 feet tall, the wind came and blew the pot over (people started to call me Charlie Brown). But the plants still kept growing fast. At over 5 feet, their tops were a foot taller than the bamboo poles and were just swaying in the breeze. Then low and behold, they started to flower. I was so happy. Then the breeze snapped the vines just about at the top of the bamboo rods. There went my hopes. I just left them. Then I noticed, they were still growing despite the severe sharp bends. On one of them, the flower has even become small snow peas. The growth is now slower, but still growing. The plants in the larger pot are only half as tall, but they have also produced. I have already harvest two snow peas. Crunchy and delicious. So now I tell myself that I am the world's greatest farmer. Glad to hear from you again. All the best.
@@ricardochong6834 oh wow your snow peas had quite the journey 😮😁 I have always had the two flamingos gos although the one in the shady border doesn’t stand out as much as the other one 🦩🦩☀️🌺 Thanks for watching! Looking great! Love that bright pink Alstromera. What’s it called? I’ve got Alstromeria Indian Summer and they’re doing fantastic but I’d love to have the vibrant pink variety which it looks like you have in addition to Indian Summer.
Stunning. I'm looking to create an oval shaped tropical centre piece in my front garden. I see you have moved away from the white beach pebbles in yours. I'm looking for very low maintenance regarding weeds. What do you suggest is best approach particularly as I will be away during summer (part-time short term letting my house).
@@PaulHeneghan-gi6tp thank you! The Cotswold chippings have been brilliant, originally they were white but have gone a bit discoloured over the years, they still look good though. I don’t get any weeds coming up so chippings/pebbles with weed barrier is a good option
