Splendid!! She has created an oasis with so many layers and well-thought out combinations, that look so darn good together. She is a phenomenal woman of many talents!! Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks to Bunny for coming to see me and the garden. Anyone wanting to learn more can look at the gasper cottage TH-cam and website - we have a monthly blog too. Come and see the garden on the NGS open day 8th September this year.
What a multi-talented and energetic lady! I like her sense of humor. I caught a glimpse of a black iron gate with leaf motif, which I'll have to go back and find again. While most of the gardeners featured are more 'high-end' than I am, I enjoy seeing that they have the same passion for plants and can realize a dream garden. Something to aspire to.
@@gaspercottageartistsgarden Oh! Hello! That's wonderful! Napkin inspirations are usually brilliant! I'm a bit far away, though...in California. I thought your portraits of the women were terrific too. :D
I am a painter and I also love my garden. The one affects the other because when I garden it is as though I am painting with plants. It always depends on colour and shape relationships. It is very satisfying when it all comes together.
As well as Poussin , his contemporary in Rome , Claude Lorraine’s painting were , if anything , more influential on the country house landscape gardening movement. Lovely video though and I also enjoy the Jasper cottage blog .
What I love about gardens is anyone can achieve a beautiful garden. It is like the beach here in Australia, anyone can go to the beach and enjoy the sea air.
Thanks for the tip. We are v untechnical as you probably gathered. Would you be able to help me please? My email is bunny.guinness@sibberton.com many thanks🐇
All very lovely but it's i creasingly jarring to view the out of touch and privileged ensconced in their rarified bubbles. There are always ways to do better, to do SOMETHING other than accept an untenable and brutal situation.
I have a tiny garden and a very small pension. I enjoy landscape and floral gardens. The amount of knowledge, history and tips that are offered up outweigh any envy I could have for her guests’ status.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being successful it is not a crime, how do you know these people don’t give vast amounts of money to charity not that they should be obliged to

The gate was made by Jack’s Bush Forge near Salisbury - based on a scribbled design i did on a napkin! They are brilliant craftsmen.

Fascinating and lovely interview. I feel the same way about Stourhead (and Stowe which is nearer to me)… not nearly enough flowers.
Loved this!

You are totally missing the point. Also, charity is a problematic model where profiteering and corruption are common.
@@edruoff1691 It's not about envy. You miss the point.
Then I would ask you to clarify untenable, brutal and rarified bubbles.
