Love Apple Brandy on the Rocks. Sampled it at Cosmetic company store and sales attendant agreed it smelled great on me and she loved it on herself as well. The problem is someone purchased their entire stock, so they only had it in store for one day.

Not a huge fan of Kilian. I get a very synthetic vibe from all of their fragrances. I did love the Rihanna endorsed one (Love don't be shy??). Marshmallow so definitely artificial but in a good and expected way. I'm not opposed to synthetic as long as what I'm smelling knows what it's doing. Great vid!

The problem with Kilian is that they price themselves too high. Realistically there is no argument to support the idea that their per 100 ml prices are far above even brands like Xerjoff, Roja, Initio etc. I still own quite a few, but mostly just gourmand fall fragrances, nothing like this in profile nor L'Heure Verte.
True. Lots of expensive niche brands send their new releases to youtubers. That can give the impression to us viewers that it is normal to give a sick amount of money for a bottle. Luckily there are lots of niche brand that handle much more realistic and fair prizes.
My local Bloomingdales is supposed to get them both on 9-16. Both fragrances sound great, but l'heure verte is what I really want to get my nose on. I own Angels’ Share, so I’m hoping this one is completely different. JC, don’t make us wait too long 😬
Man, I'd love to try this one. I loved the scent of the oroginal but it just didn't perform well on me at all - it stayed super close to the skin for about 2-3hrs and that was it. I'm hoping this one is a bit stronger with similar scent profile on me. From a fellow musician (drummer) - thanks for reviewing it 👍😎
I like the review. I like and respect the story of Kilian and am very much interested in Kilian fragrances, but I am behind on the house. I smelled Angel's Share a few months ago. There is no denying the quality for which the house is known. I was very impressed with the opening and the realistic "oak barrel" that followed. I'd like to see an assessment of the original Apple Brandy, along with Angel's Share and Roses on Ice, then maybe Vodka on the Rocks and especially Straight to Heaven. A comparison and overview of these along with the 2 most recent releases would be a great contribution. BUT...the Kilian price point must be factored in.

I don't know what you're smelling. I know, I know - different tastes. Everybody isn't going to like everything the same, but Apple Brandy on the Rocks smells straight nasty to me. In the trash it went. I wanted to like it. I sprayed all over my home, just spraying and spraying... trying to find a reason to like the scent. Nope. I get the dry woodiness. Yeah, I got that, but no, nope and no way. It's on its way to a landfill. God that stuff was awful.

I smelled bath and body works apple body sprays that smelled way better then this.
