In the 90s, i had a spare room out in the sticks. It was painted , but needed a bed. One sunny morning i was out driving probably an hour out when i come across a yard sale. I got chatting with this guy, and it turned out the bed on his front lawn was a bed hed used when single FROM THE VERY SAME BEDROOM as id just painted. I was gobsmacked, but obviously paid him and took it back to its original home in the 1970s. Unreal man.

I've had lots of coincidences happen in my life... here's two that happened on an 8 month solo backpacking trip I did in South America. 1) I was crossing the border between Bolivia and Peru on foot, in the middle of nowhere - literally desert and nothing else but this border outpost. The guy looks at my Australian passport then looks at me and kinda gruff says, "you're name is (insert name)?" I reply a bit confused and say, yes, that's my name. Suddenly the guy laughs and says it's his name too, and shows me his badge! Granted I am from South American background, but you don't expect to meet your namesake in the middle of a desert in Bolivia/Peru! 2) On same trip, I was travelling through Patagonia on a tour and we stopped at this small town again in the middle of nowhere between two distant locations. It's snowing and we all had dinner at like the only restaurant in this small town. As we're eating, a group of 4 young travellers enter and sit down at a table beside us. One of them looks strikingly familiar and after a while I go up to him and ask him if his name is (insert name). He looks at me shocked, coz he recognised me too. He was a cousin of good friend of mine that I had only just met a few weeks before this trip and had no idea he was travelling South America too! Small world.

We aren't in close contact and it was seemingly out of the blue. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts we were only able to get together for the firewaork show the night before I left but it was still great to see them.
I love the story about the guy who is a terrible driver and brake checks everybody and then causes an entire accident lol all because he keeps looking in the rearview mirror

Weird coincidence - when I was a kid, maybe 12 years old, I used to go to the mall with my friend. There was a scuba shop we stopped at near there while his mother was shopping. I remember seeing a slender guy, receding hairline and missing his ring finger on one hand buying some industrial equipment (like he was a professional diver). I wondered what grizzly incident must have happened for him to lose a finger. Years later I am on the way to my driving test and I get into an accident. A guy hauling a loader on a low-boy pulls out in front of me. I am pissed and need to reschedule, but at least my mom, sisters and everyone are okay. The guy who hit me - I knew I had seen him before. I noticed his hand missing the ring finger and he was marine welder (learned at the hearing for who was at fault). It was him I am absolutely certain - and the town I lived in nowhere near that dive shop. What a small world.
The grandama with the schizophrenia didn't actual have it but an extreme paranoia, I wonder how many other ppl this has happened to. This blows my mind because there is no reason why that man should be following her.

The only one I’ve ever seen in my life despite living in the country (very little light pollution) for now 21/30 years of my life. I’m crying just typing this. Your friend knows man. He’s proud of you dawg
