The narrator seems to think that we must be spanish since all the times she mentions a portuguese name (E.g Castelo S. Jorge, Martim Moniz) she does so with s spanish accent.
Its the best video from Lisbon, please live o LIKE. Could you do the same with Surround Lisbon, Porto, Madeira, Algarve, Central Portugal, Douro and Azores?
You should have been told how to pronounce dozens of words. What a shame that you were not guided and as a result went very badly wrong. It makes you "cringe"! Portuguese sounds very different from English and you pretended to know how to read all the words. Big mistake! Next time, ask for advice!
We are NOT Spaniards. We speak Portuguese! FFS. I had to turn on captions so as not to have to listen to the narrator butcher words with a castilian pronunciation. Portuguese pronounce J s as Js not as h as the spaniards do. Really annoying.
With a Castilian accent, Seriously! It is very annoying to listen the way you try so hard to pronounce the Portuguese names with Castilian (spanish) accent. Please speak with a English accent or Portuguese accent, a accent were you are from is more natural because you sounded... ridiculous.
