I noticed that too. The light gain tone. It cuts very well. It has a lot of definition. Ive always noticed that when recording but too scared to go that light on the gain. Lol. Edit - Sounds like EMG 707Xs with a 24 volt mod.
@@darkallyrecordings4931lmao you couldnt be more wrong, not emgs. Btw shitty guitarists needs a lot of gain, so i just figured out why you are too scared
It’s so crazy that this was the bassist originally, and he picked up on drums so fucking fast and he’s THIS GOOD. Save some talent for the rest of us homie! 😂
Yo thank you so much!! Little fun fact I played drums for the band from 2015-16 and I’ve been a drummer nearly my whole life! Bass was always a second instrument for me but I just wanted to stay involved with the band any way I could so it worked out that way. I ended up having to fill in as drummer for a few tours in 2018 so by the time it became official in late 2019 it just seemed natural for us at the time and luckily everything worked out very well! Thanks for checking out the video 🙏
Bobby’s stick control is on point... as are his heal-toe doubles. Edit : The production tones on that kit sound absolutely dope . If my acoustic kit sounded anything like this (in the flesh and untriggered) I’d never complain about anything ... ever again.
i fucking love this song so much// thank you for doing a playthrough.. its so well composed and arranged.. very futuristic to where i see the genre going as a whole..
The Evolution of Signs of a Swarm, especially the drums, and vocals are just mind blowing. David has really come into his own fronting the band and Bobby is amazing on the kit. I'm from the Pittsburgh area and glad to see them representing the area.🤘
Dude you're amazing bro you know how people are always at first like no one can replace Jimmy Pino Jimmy was awesome but so are you brother I hate it when they say the word replace you know what I mean it just sounds degrading Jimmy was no longer available for whatever reason I am thoroughly impressed with you being their choice for a drummer
Not to be that guy, but in genuinely curious how those double strokes would sound without triggers. Regardless, first time hearing this band/drummer and it seems pretty cool. I’d have to hear the vocalist to decide. But I’ll check them out.
If you have the time, check out some of my videos on Instagram @bobby_sots I have a few videos using this technique without triggers so you can hear how they sound if you’re curious! 🤘
I would pay for an instrumental version of this album in a heartbeat!
Absolutely
Definitely.
FOR SURE
150%
unquestionably
I want a "The Collection" drum playthrough.. Is that possible? please?
Very soon

what a beast!
Interesting low gainish tone, awesome riffs, super tight drumming. This is great stuff.
definitely more of a rock-ish tone and I dig it

I'm happy for you man congratulations on the bands success. Dancing lizard appreciates you.

Beautiful and heavy 💪🏻🌹
That guitar melody is amazing
One of the best things i have heard in my entired life.
Am I the only one who sings the lyrics in his head?
Nah I've listened to it 100+ times and still don't know a single word
Becoming one, i surrender in silence!
Whitechapel meets Rivers of Nihil. Stellar drumming too. That heel toe is mechanical as hell.
That foot technique is insanity
heel toe on point
Ladies and gentlemen; Bobby Crow.
this is straight up glorious and so smooth & flowing
Brilliant
🤘 Nice..😛😎
Bobby is an absolute monster on the kit. Truly one of the Goats, always looking forward to the next drum video!
Just Amazing
Dude you're crazy talented. 👏 This hole band is thats why thier my favorite. Keep up the good work. You guys are amazing.
Not losing a step without Pino. I like Bobby's style better, his playing fits the band perfectly

First time hearing this band super sick!

So clean
That accent work on the cymbals gets me every damn time, Bobby is GOATED for this one 🥵
Dawg how can you be so calm playing this song?? This shit SMACKS! Awesome playing!
the guitar sound reminds me of Whitechapel when they released "Mark Of the blade"
GOD DAMN!
this song changed my life
Nice work Bobby! I love how groovy this song is
First time I see that kind of extensive and epic use of foot double strokes. It's impressive!
Just came back to this for the second time and yup, it's twice as awesome 🤘😎🤘
This is so sick! love the talent
looks like he’s doing a roll with those pedals what the actual fuck. that’s heel-toe?!
yes, and he's one of the best in the game along with the homie from lorna shore
Insane
This is so badass! Wow!
Those double strokes hit like a fucking freight train. First Bobby Crow slaps on bass, then he one ups everyone by moving to drums. Absolutely nuts.
What a fucking badass their drummer is.
Sick af!!
Sick
LOOOOVE THIS!! Totally blew me away 🤯😱😍😍
So well done. Love the kits sparkle finish.
does he do double hits with each foot on the kick pedal???
It’s so fast they get blurry lol. But I was thinking it looks like RRLL with his feet to me too.
Hi Skylor!
It’s a modified version of “heel-toe” but essentially yes it’s RRLLRRLL
simply smooth and perfect!
Yo this f**ks hard and this dude is right up there with everyone else.
Daaaaaammmmnnnn this is so sick!!!!1
Bobby "Crow"? More like Bobby "Oh...my god that's amazing!"
We're gonna need you go ahead and do the same for The Collection, please 😘
Man is beating the fuck out of that kit. Let's go!
One of the toughest jobs in the business. I salute you sir , playing in this band means your one of the best at what you do.
These drums slap man! So sick!
Holey macaroni, this is some tight playing. Well done 🔥🔥🔥
Killing it!
This song is fucking beautiful. Great job bob

Hells yes
i fucking love that song.
Gonna try d6 on my rack toms too instead of d4. I do have them already on floors.
Es hermoso , simplemente la musica es lo mas bello que tenemos asta ahora lml
Sick Licks, Bobby. Your Set and brass all sound amazing as well. Curious if those are 5B's or 2B's, it's tough me to tell.
5B extreme in this vid!
This is inspiring. It's so clean! Do you practice alot of rudiments and just exercises to split your body up?
2:16 * rips steering wheel from the console, every time.
🤘🤤
Did jimmy leave? Or is he just on a break?
Jimmy left the band in 2019.
Will be there an instrumental version of the album? pls
I miss you guys :(((((
Also god damn Bobby you’re a fucking monster
Young Nic Cage can drum, goddamn!
What sample is he using for his kick? Sounds great
So fucking good!!!

Hey man, please can you share or write your settings for Roland trigger module??? Thanks + Do you using own recorded samples through module?
I see that little mackie headphone amp on the table haha

Holy fuck
I hope you read this Mr drummer man! I can do that too! It's so easy once you know you feel like you should be working harder upstairs am I right???
gah DAMMM
Bro the gallup rhythm on the double kickers reminds me of bleed by meshuggah. Obiously not the same, but VERY similar.
Broooooooooooooo

Fucking BEAUTIFUL
holy shit
Fucking amazing!!
What sizes are these splash cymbals? Sound amazing 🤟🏼
6” and 8”!
Ugh I want his china, it sounds sooo goood
Why did you delete live in the foundry (2016) from your channel? It was a good show :(
Double pedal??
What pedal is that?!

Someone needs to get Bobby and Alex Bent from Trivium in the same room for a drum off!
