    It is surprising how much taking notes in the listening part is common advice and strategy on youtube whereas it doesn't work and my results are better when I focus 100% on what I listening to rather than taking notes. Thanks for your efforts

    • @juva

      This may be quite subjective: Some people find note-taking very helpful, whereas others find it distracting. It was very helpful to me taking notes in the right way :D. I'm glad you know what works best for you!

    HELLO , I just came from the test and I unfortunately failed my reading task I took 14 / 30 and the listening is 24/30 these are the unofficial scores . My advice for the reading section is that you literally have to practice lots and lots of sample reading tests and try to manage your time , for me I didn't have the opportunity to practice that much so I wasn't prepared well , and in my opinion I found some of the passages hard to understand they were pretty much of a higher level for me , I guess bcz in school we didn't cover such sophisticated topics ( I'm 16 btw) . However , regarding the speaking and writing sections were sooo easy thanks to you Juva I followed your templates for those parts of the test and no doubt they were pretty handy 😉 . Also i encountered the exact same questions as the ones I saw in the sample tests while preparing for the independent speaking part and for the independent essay part . I totally consider redoing the test to reach my aim which is 100+ as for now I whish for a 90+ .

    • @juva
      @juva  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So great that you took the TOEFK Wajd! Congratulations! Regarding the reading section, you are right, it's definitely a challenge and requires a lot of practice. Don't worry about it! I'm so glad the templates were helpful to you :)

    • @juva
      @juva  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi 😊 This depends on your level of English and the score you need. I recommend taking a practice test to see whether you are able to achieve the score you need. This will give you an idea of how much you need to practice.

      Hey :) Apparently my reply was deleted, so here again: If you practice a lot, your scores will average around a certain score, so it's likely that you may get a similar score in your TOEFL.

    My friend has taken the test
    So, he just write 120 words in the in integrated essay and 300 words in independent essay. As a result, he got 24
    However, in previous video. You have said you if write under the requirements your score will go down.

    • @zna8686
      @zna8686 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the containment of your friends essays. I mean beautiful words, clear structure, Coherence and cohesion etc.

    • @juva
      @juva  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd recommend going a bit over the word count, it doesn't have to be much. The word count given in the TOEFL is a minimum requirement. This way you show the examiner that you can write longer essay and that you treated the topic thoroughly.
